MARIO COPPOLA began his piano studies very young under the influence of the prestigious Neapolitan school of Paolo Denza and studied with Marisa Carretta, Sergio Fiorentino, Aldo Ciccolini and
with Dario De Rosa at the Trio di Trieste School in Duino as for Chamber Music. In 2004 he was invited by the Concert Society in Ravello, Villa Rufolo, where he performed the complete cycle of the 32 Beethoven Sonatas in the eight recitals he gave there. He has performed among the others at La Fenice Theatre, the Teatro Fraschini in Pavia, the Teatro Coccia in Novara, the Teatro Sannazaro
and the Teatro di Corte in Naples, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the Teatro Comunale di Marsala and Comunale di Potenza, the Teatro Lauro Rossi in Macerata, the Palau de la Musica in Barcelona, the Leopold Mozart Saal in Salzburg, the Bosendorfer Hall in Bruxelles, Paris, Cologne, Koblenz, Cadiz, Seville, the Solemnty Hall in Helsinki. In May 2011 he performed an all-Beethoven program from the Ca****la Paolina at the Quirinale Palace. The
concert was broadcast live on Radio3 Europe and received recognition by EBU. He holds a position as Piano Professor at the Conservatorio “Guido
Cantelli” in Novara.
