16. Who might Park Seo-joon play?
Already on the lookout, Screenrant has shortlisted some roles that Park Seo-joon might possibly play in the Captain Marvel sequel.
17. Amadeus Cho a.k.a The Hulk
Amadeus Cho, who became The Hulk after inheriting Bruce Banner’s powers, is a well-known Korean superhero in the Marvel universe. His character is one role that Park Seo-joon might possibly play in ‘The Marvels’. However, Screenrant notes that Amadeus Cho is an unlikely choice. Park Seo-joon is almost the same age as actress Claudia Kim who played Amadeus’ mother in a previous Marvel production, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. The decision to cast the duo as mother and son does not seem likely, the outlet speculates.
18. Noh-Varr a.k.a Marvel Boy
Screenrant notes that Park Seo-joon could also play the role of Marvel Boy Noh-Varr. Noh-Varr’s backstory includes a crucial scene where his ship crashes in New Jersey – a place that happens to be a location for the filming of ‘The Marvels’.
Is this just a coincidence, or a clue that Park Seo-joon is set to play Marvel Boy in the new movie?
19. A S.W.O.R.D agent
Finally, Screenrant argues that Park Seo-joon might not play a superhero role after all, because he could also be on the affiche as a S.W.O.R.D agent. Although this would be a supporting role of a character without superpowers, it would still be a significant feat for Park Seo-joon. S.W.O.R.D agents support the Marvel superheroes on their missions when needed, and depending on the story, it could be an interesting role for the Korean actor.
