10-year-old Aaron Pressley caught a foul ball at the Phillies baseball game and was ecstatic. But then he noticed a little girl, Emma, crying a few seats over. In the spur of the moment, Aaron hadn’t noticed that Emma also tried to grab the ball but failed.

"It didn't feel right to keep the ball. So I went over there and I saw her crying and I just felt so sad. I gave her the ball. She said, 'Thank you.' It just felt so good. I felt like a good guy," Aaron commented.

Emma's parents were touched by the fifth-grader's selfless act and gave him a Phillies gift card. The team also heard of Aaron’s story and sent over another ball for him.

"Just do nice things for people," the boy added. "Just be a nice person and always have positive energy inside of you."

Officer Mario Valenti responded to the call, but with 20 years of police work behind his back, what he did surprised everyone.

Valenti offered to pay $150 of his own money for a gym membership, instead of arresting the kid. He said he’d rather have the boy shooting hoops instead of “being on the street and possibly getting into trouble”.

"It seems like all that's represented (in the news) with police is the bad stuff, and it's a shame, because when I took this job 23 years ago, I didn't think everyone was going to hate you, which is sometimes the feeling you get as a police officer," Valenti told the Chicago Tribune.

Back to work today, forgot my pass so locked bike outside Cannon Street station. Left work at 6pm to find just the cut lock and no bike, resigned to never seeing my trusty stead again asked the station if they have cameras. A guy appeared waving at me, asked me to put the code into my cut lock. He replied ‘I have your bike’ with a smile I will never forget!! His name is Abdul Muneeb and he works for South Eastern Railways, he was on a break and saw a guy bolt cut the lock and challenged him to give it back, he then took it inside and waited 4 hours after his shift finished to personally make sure I got my bike back. The world needs more Abdul’s, he is a legend of a man and a credit to his employer.

"Yesterday during my Daddy’s funeral procession, led by the United States Marine Corps, my family noticed the man in this photo pulled over on the side of the road. His hat was in is hand and his hand was over his heart, honoring my father and our family as we passed by.

His respectful act touched my family and the entire procession so deeply. We passed many other cars along the way that simply went about their day.

Since his license plate showed in the photo, my daughter did some digging and we found him!!!

His name is Ernest Boerlin and he is also a veteran - US Navy.

When I messaged him privately to thank him for honoring my father, he said:

“It was an honor to show my respect for a fellow serviceman and their family. Please accept my prayers and condolences to you and your family for your loss. Fair winds and following seas. God bless.”

Thank you, Ernest. Your act of kindness and respect touched our family and friends very deeply and we are grateful. May God bless you and yours as well.

Let’s thank Ernest for his service and show him some love, y’all!"

When Jordan Thomas was 16 years old he lost his legs while on a fishing trip with his parents in the Florida Keys.

Luckily, Jordan’s parents had the means and they got him $24,000 prosthetics which allowed him to run, swim and play golf. But while he was at the Miami hospital for treatment, he saw other kids that were not so fortunate.

"As I learned more about the life of living with limb loss, I saw a number of kids who didn't have access to prosthetics. I saw a number of kids who didn't have access to proper healthcare," Jordan, now 32, commented.

While still in the hospital, he established the Jordan Thomas Foundation to provide prosthetics for children under 18. Since then, his foundation has raised millions and currently provides 81 kids with artificial limbs. Jordan is now lobbying Congress for fairness in health insurance.

“Every kid deserves equal access to their childhood,” he added.

Kev Crane from Leicestershire, England, has been a plumber for 8 years. He loves singing, and as a hobby, he writes his own music. He even built a studio at his home after watching YouTube videos on how to record and mix music.

While he was on a job one day, Kev started to sing along to the radio at Paul Conneally’s home. Turns out, Paul Conneally owns a record label - New Reality Records. And when he heard Kev singing, he noticed his “good voice”.

“He sent me some songs and I was blown away by his songwriting and his attention to detail in producing a sound that is so 80s but so now at the same time,” Conneally, 62, commented. After that, he offered the plumber a record deal.

“It just feels surreal. I never expected anything like this to happen,” Kev, 49, commented.

He has now released a debut album, ‘Why Can’t I Be You?” under Conneally’s record label.

"I’m not sure who this man is and I’m sure he just wanted to eat his meal in peace, but Brekken had other plans. We took all six kids to eat at Fernando's and all Brekken wanted was to eat with him. He was continuously crying and as I got up to take him to the car, this man asked to get him. Brekken instantly stopped crying and sat and ate chips and salsa and had conversation with him until he was ready to go.

Brekken was completely content and told him bye like he had known him his whole life. It’s the small things! So, if you know him, please tell him again I said thank you. He didn’t have to do what he did but completely made Brekken’s whole day. ❤️

Update: His name is Darius West."

"So I’m driving down the road this morning and the cars in front of me are driving over a black thing in the road. It’s going between their tires so I’m guessing it’s a box. It’s a kitten just sitting upright, shaking like a leaf. Someone had spread glue on it's paws and glued it to the road. At first, I thought maybe it had walked through glue but after looking at its paws closer, I noticed that the glue had been spread thoroughly into her paws! She was wet and freezing and was literally glued to the road. And NO ONE STOPPED! 😳

What is going on with people? I slammed on my brakes and stopped all the traffic behind me, put my hazards on, got out and pealed her off of the road. People were honking and all upset. Really? It’s a kitten glued to the road! So after a goo gone bath and some food and cream, we have a new kitten." - Chuck Hawley

Police officers Michael Flynn and Michael Hughes got a home call about a stolen bicycle. When they arrived at Dawn King's house, she explained that her 6-year-old son Bryan’s bike was stolen. It was an early birthday present and it was also the boy’s second bike that got stolen in just a couple of weeks.

Upon leaving the house, the two officers decided to surprise young Bryan. So they bought him a brand new bike and two locks to make sure his bicycle doesn’t get stolen again.

"WOW okay so the most amazing thing just happened to me and I can’t help but share it with the world. American Airlines instituted a new policy where you have to pay to take a carry-on onto the plane. Which is ridiculous but off topic.

I consolidate my bags into one and they measure it and say it’s just a little too big. They proceed to charge me $50, except they only take credit card, no cash. Since I just got back from Europe all my cards are being declined as Chase doesn’t know I’m back.

They tell me that I’m going to have to miss the flight and head back to the ticket counter to pay down there. I’m pleading, devastated after a long day of travel. Then, this man walks up and says, “How much is it?” They tell him $50 and he says “I got it.”

I’m astonished and tell him it’s fine not to worry and he hands the lady his card as the American Airlines employees stand in silence shocked by this man’s generosity. They swipe the card and he tells me to have a great flight and hop on board.

I’m crying as I write this and as I board the flight. This man was an angel. I stop him as he’s sitting in first class and try to give him my money but he just shook me off and told me to pay it forward.

My heart is so happy. There are good people in this world. Be that person for someone because I know after this I sure will be." 💕

Update: It was NFL player, Jermaine Gresham.

24/10/2021

"Today at Meijer, I walked up to select my shaving cream and overheard a mother talking to her daughter about shaving her legs. It was her first time shopping for razors, and her mom was explaining what kind of razor she needed, how to shave her legs, etc. I felt that little punch in the gut that I normally feel when I see a mom and daughter doing mom and daughter things. I can't help it.

You'd think after 14 years without mine, seeing someone with their mom wouldn't make me sad or jealous, but it just does. This time, however, I couldn't help but giggle. I was transported back to a similar moment I shared with my Dad. I'll never forget the look on my dad's face when I told him I wanted to shave my legs. It was the summer after mom died and some of the girls I went to summer camp with started teasing me about my hairy legs. I remember coming up to dad and being so embarrassed to ask him for help, but man, did he handle it like a champ! For a moment he put his head down; and then he turned the TV off, took me into the bathroom, gave me a new blade on his razor, gave me his shaving cream, and taught me how to shave my legs.

Single dads don't get the credit they deserve; especially mine and all dads who are left playing both roles. There was never a time in my childhood where I truly thought I was missing out on anything. My dad was so good at fulfilling both roles and making sure my childhood was as normal as possible; that there was never a time I thought Life or God had screwed me over. My dad handled everything: periods, shaving, broken hearts, catty girlfriends--you name it and my dad took it like a champ.

Dad, I know I haven't said it enough, so here's a big public THANK YOU for never, ever, ever being too much of a man to be my mom. Thank you for never being too embarrassed to do the girl stuff you had to do, thank you for never making it embarrassing for me to ask you for help. Growing up without a mom is obviously something no one ever wants, but growing up with you was the best. I love you, Dad!"
