And to lead is to influence outcomes, good or bad.
As a new leader, one of the worst things I ever did was come in gung-ho and immediately make changes. I learned this lesson the hard way, a few times actually, and agree with guest . Take time to observe and engage when the subject isn't critical. It will pay off in the long run!
