*AR Ramadan Mosque Project* 🕌

Along with our normal distributions and outreaches, we are undertaking an additional project. 

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This Ramadan we will be building a mosque in Uganda. 

13 percent of Ugandans are Muslim, Islam has shown steady growth in Uganda throughout the last few years hence why they need a purpose built mosque.
This mosque will not only work as a place of worship but also as a community hub for Muslims to gain and extend their knowledge on Islam and become closer to Allah.

I remember turning up and seeing blood drops, clothes and food everywhere. The feeling I felt was like no other seeing that face to face, was a reality check of how bad It is out here for these people.

As well as worrying about what they are going to eat, they also have to worry about where they have to sleep and their safety.

Being out here everyday with them providing food, clothing and emergency bag packs, gives me a peace of mind.

Hi guys,
We have started a new initiative called AR emergency outreach.

This consists of our team offering their time to distribute hot food, drinks and emergency backpacks to rough sleepers in and around London.
*
*
We have also started a referral program, which allows the public to contact us directly when they see a rough sleeper, this allows us to provide the support where needed.
These emergency backpacks are a life-line for a rough sleeper.
*
*
The emergency backpacks contain:
- Sleeping bag
- Backpack
- Floor mat
- Hand & feet warmers
- Water bottles
- Hot meal
- Socks
- Gloves
- Beanie hat
- Emergency foil blanket
- Snacks - Chocolate, crisp, water and fizzy drink
- Protein shake
- Wet wipes
- Pack of tissues
- Flask
- Covid mask
- Toothbrush and paste
- Warm blanket
- Rain poncho

In the last month, we have given out 30 emergency backpacks.

This project has already proven a massive success, impacting many peoples lives as we are finding individuals shivering on the floor.
