It’s here, it’s out and it’s in book stores now. It’s the latest edition and our latest addition to the 111 Places global series of guide books published by Emons in Germany. For the last year my writing partner Graeme Menzies and I have been toiling away alongside our Editor Karen Seiger in New York, to produce this fabulous book. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product! And how perfect that the book's release coincides with our 100th podcast. We will now start folding stories of Victoria into our weekly podcast episodes. Look for a name update for the show too, coming soon. The Brass Plaques at Creekside

Soon it will snow. Soon we will be skiing up at Whistler. Soon the line ups will stretch from the Creekside Gondola all the way down to the BC Government Liquor store. If you are up there at Creekside now, or during the ski season when you are in the lift line up, have a look below you to your feet. You’ll find nine round historical brass plaques, about the size of manhole covers, that will give you an extremely brief history of the resort municipality.
