VENTING: Being a single gay man trying to date (not hookup, DATE ) will make a single gay man almost homophobic.
Gay guys are the worst. 😂
Every app is a hookup app. These homos have turned Bumble and Hinge into hookup apps. It won’t be long before they’ve done it to eharmony too.
Example: connected with dude on Hinge recently. Fantastic profile. Oozed sincerity and well-intentioned goals.
Not 45 minutes in, hounding me for 🍆 and 🍑 pics. Went into some kind of dirty/roleplay banter.
Same/similar on Bumble. I must’ve been married when Tinder went south because it, too, is somehow a hookup resource. And don’t even get me STARTED on the couples with joined accounts - that’s right - looking TOGETHER for a little extracurricular activity.
The one human I’ve met that might be worth a shot is in the throes of divorce & selling his house and trying to navigate the mindspace (so very familiar to me) but we were gonna catch up one night for fun dance night out and he no-showed. Not by choice. He pre-gamed *too* well and passed out before 10pm.
Whereas many folks would write that off, I’ve tried to stay in contact but even that’s gone cool/chillly - and we’ve yet to meet.
Men in their 30s want men in their 20s. Men in their 40s want men in their 20s. Men in their 50s want men in their 20s or early 30s.
I’ll be 50 in February and men in their 60s and 70s want me … for a hookup.
Boys in their teens, 20s and 30s who DO show interest in me want to call me “daddy.” Dude. No.
Ya know what? I just need to crack the mic and start this podcast as planned a year-ish ago. The stories are endless and I need to tell em all.
