Hello! Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Vanessa and I am a DJ and owner of Harvest Moon DJ Service. I’m a hopeless romantic, collector of love songs, and all around silly goose.

When I’m not djing you can find me in adventuring in nature, at yoga or spin class, and reading books 🤓📖

You may have seen me djing around Victoria as at clubs like Capital ballroom, Upstairs Cabaret, Victoria Events Centre and The Vicious Poodle. As well as restaurants like Craft, Glo, 10 Acres Commons, The Mint and more!

I’ve been djing for all kinds of events over 15 years but have started specializing in weddings for the last 5 years, and I absolutely LOVE it! There’s something so special about creating the vibes for such a momentous and romantic occasion. I take this honour seriously, ensuring you have your ideal musical landscape for your wedding.

I am very good at reading the crowd and happily welcome requests. I tailor the music to your tastes, adding in a little something for everyone to keep people dancing. I love a challenge and can accommodate any style of music for all ages.

Weddings are always special, but this one was truly something else. The dance floor was packed all night as guests danced their hearts out. I could feel the love and joy radiating throughout the venue. It’s moments like these that make me so grateful for my job. Being able to create unforgettable memories for couples and their loved ones is incredibly rewarding. Thank you to the newlyweds Megan & Kevin and all their guests for making this such an incredible night. I left with the biggest smile on my face, feeling inspired and appreciative. Weddings like this are what it’s all about!

Helping to create the soundtrack for such an important life milestone is truly humbling. Seeing the smiles on guests’ faces as they dance the night away, and knowing I played a role in making that happen, is what inspires me most. This isn’t just a job to me - it’s a passion.
