So tell me: have you ever heard of PMDD?

I hated the time of my life where I was jeckle and Hyde, every month. I remember feeling the change starting in my arms as the anger seethed through my veins.

I was also pretty good as hiding it.

Thanks to lots of research and becoming a guinea pig to my own symptoms, I've come so far and learned so much about myself and my symptoms.

but many women have or will never get to this place, because too many people are so u aware of how debilitating this could be.

super strong symptoms before your period starts is NOT normal.

Adventures in cooking!

Switchel! Aka "Nature's Gatorade"

It's honestly not bad, and I've definitely tried worse!

The recipe I followed had the opposite amounts of ACV and maple syrup, but when making it. A half cup of ACV seemed like A LOT, so I switched on the spot. It was pretty potent when made, so I topped it off with water (maybe 1.5 cups). I could drink some of this daily to keep my electrolytes in check!

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh ginger, roughly dices
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
6 cups water
Juice of 3 lemons

Direcrions:
Chop ginger and add to a pot with water. Bring to a hard boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let ginger steep for 20 minutes and cool.
In a half gallon jar, add the remaining ingredients, then add ginger water, and top off with water to fill the jar. Can be served hot or cold, but should be refrigerated.

I have days where I struggle with a particular situation.

Some days I'm ok and above it.

Some days it defeats me.

And lately I've felt extra defeated, so today is wearing extra heavy.

So tonight I'm curled up in my egg chair, gazing at the stars as they dance between the clouds, tears in full force, listening to this song on repeat.

Just finished watching i can only imagine. Knew I would cry.

Hubby said he was distraught at the whole amy grant thing, and why I didn't say something, but I told him I never knew (which is true).

There's still redemption for the people who have hurt us the most.

They just have to want it.

They just have to understand they need it.

Never stop praying for them.

Ever have that place that you just can't seem to find a good function for?

This is mine. It's an upper cabinet lazy susan above my kitchen sink.

My kitchen has good Amish built cabinets, and included built-in pantry and spice cabinets, so I'm still struggling to make this space usable. I may need some help from 😆
