Without darkness, we lose the chance to dream...

This was taken from one of my time-lapse footage. I remember staying on this location from sunset to sunrise, and it wasn’t easy. I had to go through cold weather, wild animals and convince myself that I’m doing the right thing (lol). But honestly, looking back, it was all worth it.

As I find my way through different hiking spots in Mt. Tam, I finally found a view where the fog rolls beneath the surface of the forest.

After 8 long months of traveling, hiking, and endless planning, I can finally say I have enough footages for my first time-lapse video. I learned a lot, and I am grateful for each moment!

Right after visiting Death Valley, I was thinking about visiting this place again but the weather app didn’t look good...I still went anyway 😅 Well, it was right and the red sunglow didn’t happen because of the clouds, I still think it is worth watching the sunset in any weather...

This taught me life can be beautiful and vile at the same time.

While capturing the sunset timelapse with , suddenly a think fog covered the mountain with gust of winds. This was not something I expected nor what the weather apps has forecasted. In the end, even though I didn’t get what I was expecting to have, this view is still amazing. It gave me a different perspective of how this location can look if its covered with fog. I never once saw any photo like this in Badwater Basin.

Desert Winds.

When I first arrived in Death Valley around 5 am, it was drizzling but it wasn’t that bad so I still went to the dunes and try to shoot the sunrise

Little after a couple of minutes, a strong gust of winds was all over the desert, and it was a surreal experience.

Camped in Death Valley this past weekend! I went here to try to capture a day to night timelapse but didn’t get the exact shot I wanted. I will most likely visit again soon. Hopefully, it will be better next time! I will post another update after editing it.

Nothing beats the hour just before sunrise.

All campgrounds have been closed for quite some time now and it's been frustrating to look for a place to stay/camp. Thats why I built my own bed camper inside my car. So far so good but I’ll have to do some changes along the way!

Since it's been a struggle to book hotels, Airbnb, and campgrounds due to the lockdown, I decided to create a sleeping platform for my car. I have been busy building it for the past few weeks and I think it will be ready to be used soon!
