I hope you find a safe space where your feelings will not be invalidated and used against you.

A safe space that won't make you feel like you are constantly walking on egg shells.

A safe space that will allow you to speak and be real, not be blamed for being true.

You belong to somewhere you will feel free, loved cared for and understood.

To others, their safe space is a person.
To me, it is God.
For I realized that no one can truly understand our hearts better than the One who made it.

Was there a time in your life that you thought God was not ultimately good?

They say that when we are experiencing the best moments-blessings, answered prayers, good opportunities, it is easy to say PRAISE THE LORD!

Yet, when trials come our way, we are quick to forget His goodness over our lives.

My prayer for today is that may our forgetful hearts remember that we are not where we used to be because He is good. His goodness and unfailing love will pursue us all the days of our lives as we continue to trust Him and as walk in His ways. His character remains constant and unshakeable regardless of what is ahead of us and will never be dependent on our circumstance. And His love abounds towards us, all because of Christ Jesus!

Undeniably, waiting entails a lot of courage especially in this fast paced world that is why God tells us to be strong and to take heart as we wait.

If the slowness of the promise to unfold fuels us to throw our hopes, may we carry in our hearts the truth that we have a perfect God with a perfectly laid out plan through His perfect wisdom and love.

God knows what we do not know. His timing in all aspects of our lives that is according to His will is always right. Waiting on Him is not a time wasted because He is beyond time itself.

He has made everything beautiful in its time (Ecc 3:11).

If it is not happening now, it does not mean it won’t happen. God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill (Numbers 23:19)?

If it is according to His will, He will make it happen. Therefore, let us continue to hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful (Heb. 10:23).

Not one word of all the good promises that He made in the past had failed; all came to pass. And He will do it again.

The Promise-giver is a Promise-keeper.

In the multitude of questions you have in your mind today, may you find strength in these truths:

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are His eternal arms.

You may not have all the answers to all your whys and hows, but know that what you needed most has already been provided.

The One who goes before you. The One who loves you with an everlasting love. The One who will direct your paths. The One who understands your heart and sympathizes with you through it all. The One who is guaranteed to never leave you nor forsake you. The One whose faithfulness and goodness remain constant yesterday, today and forever.

Your life sustainer. Your burden-bearer. The One who holds not just the answers but also you.

In this world full of uncertainties, may your heart’s certain response be:
Jesus, you are all that I need.
