NEW YORK CITY: Several protestors were hit by a car in Times Square during a peaceful protest in the Murray Hill section on Friday.
One person is in serious condition, and the other five have minor injuries, the New York Police Department said on Twitter.
Video shows a car plowing into 40-50 protestors on the corner of East 39th Street and Third Avenue Friday a little after 4 p.m.
52-year-old Kathleen Casillo, of Queens, has been arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, police said.
Six people were struck, but none of the injuries is serious.
A Demonstrator marching with the group said the event, which began in Times Square, was to protest in support of ICE detainees who have been on a month-long hunger strike at the Bergen County Jail in New Jersey—guarded by the U.S.
Authorities said protesters surrounded the driver's car, hitting on it, which caused her to panic before she sped into the protesters.

A 4-year-old toddler played with her doll baby stroller when she somehow managed to get the stroller stuck around her waist.

After trying in vain to free her daughter, Jabara,43 of Paramus, called 911.
Heroic Police Officers Robert Sobocinskians and Ben Fox of the Paramus Police Department responded to the call around 11 am.

After carefully analyzing how to remove the toy stroller without causing the little girl any pain, the officers decided to break the handlebar.

That same day both officers decided to skip having lunch and purchase the little girl a new toy stroller.

The video taken by Nina's mother shows Sobocinski saying to the young toddler, "Look what I got, this for you."

The officer apologized to the four year old for breaking the other stroller to free her.

“Sex trafficking can be a hidden crime, one that lives in the shadows,” said Attorney General Chris Carr on Thursday at a press conference, applauding the success of “Operation Not Forgotten”.

The two-week rescue mission to find endangered minors conducted by the U.S. Marshals Agency has succeeded in the recovery of 39 missing and exploited children.

Some of the rescued children were victims of sexual assault, r**e, child po*******hy and other crimes, while others were reported missing and tracked down to ensure they were not in danger.
