Idk who needs to hear this but as a girl there is NOTHING wrong in being financially dependent on your dad or family.

Financial independency doesn’t define your worth as a woman. Don’t make it a social norm or get blinded by society’s definition of a “strong” woman.

Get education and establish yourself for your own self, to do good for others and not for the money.

Yes there are exceptions ofc, everyone has their own trials of supporting their family when in need but don’t make it a generalisation.

Don’t make your lives unnecessarily difficult when Allah swt himself has relieved you from the hurdles of the money making market.

When someone has been a working woman for a few years and suddenly leaves her job or any educated woman who has never been into any professional job because of her marriage or children, people tend to comment "she has sacrificed her career". But this is not necessary to be always true right? Maybe some women want to give her time for her family, marriage and children. Maybe she is happy to do that. Maybe this is the life she cherishes more. Why it needs to be the career which is considered as women's most desired!

ইদানিং একটা কথা ফেসবুক স্ক্রল করলে খুব চোখে পড়ছে। বিশেষ করে‌ নতুন জেনারেশনের মুখে।

"Prioritize your happiness over everything"

এটার সাথে ব্যখ্যামূলক আরও অনেক লাইনও থাকে, যেমন "কেউ আপনার ভাল থাকার, আপনাকে ভাল রাখার দায়িত্ব নিবে, সেটা হবে‌না,‌আপনার ভাল থাকাটা আপনাকেই দেখতে হবে। এবং নিজের ভাল থাকাটাকেই সর্বোচ্চ গুরুত্ব দিতে হবে। "

এই সব কথার সারমর্ম আর ইংরেজি লাইনগুলোর বাংলা হল আপনাকে চোখ কান বন্ধ করে স্বার্থপর হতে হবে।

কিভাবে একটা গোটা জেনারেশন স্বার্থপর হবার তীব্র মোটিভেশন নিয়ে বড় হচ্ছে ভাবতেই অবাক লাগে। ভাল থাকার ডেফিনেশনটাই বা এদের কাছে কি বুঝিনা। স্বার্থপর হয়ে নাহয় ৭০-৮০ বছরের একটা জীবনে খুব সুখি হলেন। তারপর? এরপরের জীবনে সৃষ্টিকর্তার কাছে এই মোটিভেশনের গল্প টিকবে তো? আমাদের দুনিয়ার জীবনের গাইডলাইনই হল ধর্ম। ধর্ম কি কখনো আমাদের স্বার্থপর হতে শেখায়? তাহলে ধর্ম কি চায়না আপনি ভাল থাকেন? ধর্ম অন্যের সুখে সুখী‌ হবার শিক্ষাটা শিখতে বলে সবার আগে। ধর্ম নির্বোধ হতে নিষেধ করে কিন্তু স্বার্থপর হতে বলেনা‌ কখনোই।

আমরা বেশিরভাগ সময়ই‌ জীবনে পাওয়া সুযোগগুলো যেগুলো হয়ত জীবনের মোড়টাই ঘুড়িয়ে দিতে পারে, খুব একটা কদর করিনা। আমরা ভাবি আবারো এমন সুযোগ‌ আসবে, এর চেয়েও ভালো কিছু আসবে। হ্যাঁ হয়তবা আসেও। সেটা একেবারেই সৃষ্টিকর্তার দয়া ছাড়া আর কিছুই না। কিন্তু জীবনের চেয়ে অনিশ্চিত কি এই জগৎ সংসারে আর কিছু আছে? কে বলতে পারে? সৃষ্টিকর্তা হয়ত একটাই সুযোগ লিখে রেখেছিল যেন আমি কাজে লাগাতে পারি। যে সেই সুযোগটা মূল্য দিয়ে একবারেই লক্ষ্য পূরণ করে নিতে পারল, হয়ত আল্লাহ তার দিকে তাকিয়ে মুচকি হেসে বলল "বাহ আমার বান্দা আমার দেয়া নিয়ামতের কদর করল" আর তার পুরষ্কার হিসাবে‌ আল্লাহ এমন নিয়ামত বার বার নসিব করল।

আসেন ছোট্ট করে শয়তান আর নফসের ফাজলামির পার্থক্যটা বুঝাই।

ধরেন আপনি সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেন আগামীকাল থেকে আর কাউকে গালি দিবেন না। খুব ভাল সিদ্ধান্ত। বসে বসে মোবাইল টিপতেসেন হঠাৎ মনে হবে আমি তো আরও কত বড় বড় গুনাহ করি। যেমন ফরয নামাজ পড়ি না মাঝে মধ্যেই, সিনেমা নাটক এগুলাও দেখি, সঠিকভাবে পর্দাও করি না। এগুলা বড় বড় গুনাহ করতেসি গালি না দিয়ে আর কিই বা গুনাহ কমবে! এটা তো কোন বড় ভাল কাজ না। যেদিন নামাজ পর্দার মত বড় বড় ফরয ভাল কাজ ভালভাবে করতে পারব, তারপর গালি ছাড়ার মত ছোট ভাল কাজ নিয়ে চিন্তা করব।

মনে রাখবেন এটা পিওর শয়তানের ফাজলামি।

ঠিক তার পরই মনে হবে গালি না দিলে তো মানুষ আমাকে পেয়ে বসবে, কুল হইতে পারব না, সবাই গালি গালাজের জন্য আমাকে একটু ভয় পাইত সেটাও আর পাবে না। নাহ্ গালিটা ছাড়া যাবে না।

এটা আপনার নফসের কূটনৈতিক গেম।

আল্লাহ আমাদের সবাইকে হেফাজত করুক।

• Pray.
• Sit on that prayer mat and pour your heart out until there's nothing left to share.
• Remind yourself that it's okay to cry. He's seen you crying in your sleep. There's nothing left to hide.

• Close your eyes and with a firm intention say, "Oh Allah, I trust that only you can take this pain away from my heart."

The One Who Reads the Quran Without Knowing Its Meaning will be Rewarded

Question : I continually read the Quran but I do not understand its meaning. Will I be rewarded by Allah for that?

Response: The Noble Quran is full of blessings. Allah has said,

( كتَبُ أَنزَلَتَهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَرَكَ لِيَدَّبَّرُوا وَايَتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُولُوا الأَلني )

[ ص: ٢٩]

"[This is] a Book which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember" (Sad 29).

A person is rewarded for reciting the Quran regardless of whether he comprehends it or not. But a believer must not recite the Quran without understanding it while he is responsible to apply it. If a person wants to learn medicine, for example, and he studies the books of medicine, he will not benefit from them until he understands their meanings and explanations. In fact, he will be very desirous to take advantage of every opportunity to understand their meanings in order to apply them. If that is the case with books like medicine, what must be the case with respect to reading the Book of Allah without thought and understanding of its meaning while it is a cure for what is in the hearts and an admonition for mankind? This is why the Companions would not go beyond ten verses until they understood the meanings of those verses with respect to what they contain of knowledge and how to apply them. A person is rewarded and recompensed for reciting the Quran whether he understands it or not. However, he must be most anxious and use every opportunity to understand its meaning and to take that meaning from the trustworthy scholars, like [studying] the Quranic commentaries by ibn Jarir al-Tabari, ibn Katheer and others.

The Reward for Women in Paradise

Question: Whenever I read the Noble Quran, I find in many verses Allah giving glad tidings to His believing male servants of al-hoor al-ain who extol in beauty. Does the woman have any partner in Paradise other than her husband? Furthermore, most of the statements concerning bounties in Paradise are directed toward the believing men. Is the reward of the believing women in Paradise less than that of the believing men?

Response: There is no doubt that reward in the Hereafter encompasses both men and women. This is based on the following statements of Allah:

أن لا أضيع عمل عمل تنكم بين ذكر أو أنثى

[آل عمران: ١٩٥]

"Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, male or female" (al-Imran 195).

مَنْ عَمِلَ صَلِحَا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَوة

[النحل : ٩٧]

"Whosoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer, We will give a good life" (al-Nahl 97).

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ
فاوتيكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ
[النساء : ١٢٤]

"And whoever does righteous good deeds, being a male or a female, and is a true believer, such will enter Paradise" (al- Nisa (124).

إنَّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَت إلى قوله أَعَدَّ اللهُ
هم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرًا عَظِيم
[الأحزاب : ٣٥]

"Verily, the Muslims, men and women, the believers, men and women... [up to the end of the verse where Allah says:] Allah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward" (al-Ahzab 35).

Allah mentions them entering into Paradise together,

هُمْ وَأَزْوَجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَلٍ
[يس : ٥٦]
"They and their wives will be in pleasant shade" (Ya Sin 56).

Also,

[الزخرف : ٧٠] ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ
"Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness" (al- Zukhruf 70).

Allah also mentions that He will recreate the women in the verse,

إنَّا أَنشَأْتَهُنَّ إِنشَاء فَعَلْتَهُنَّ أَبْكَارًا
[الواقعة : ٣٥-٣٦]

"Verily, We created them of special creation and made them virgins" (al-Waqia 35-36).

That is, Allah will recreate the elderly women and make them virgins. Similarly, Allah will recreate the elderly men and make them youths. It is also mentioned in the hadith that the women of this worldly life have a superiority over al-hoor al-ain due to the acts of worship and obedience that they performed [in this world]. Therefore, the believing women will enter Paradise just like the believing men. If a woman had a number of husbands and she enters Paradise with them, she will choose among them and will choose the one with the best character and behavior.

I bought this book from Madinah in last July during my visit for Hajj and I found it very useful for women.

In day-to-day life, women are to face a lot of special problems regarding their me**es, postpartum bleeding, istihada, hijab, mixing with men; rights and duties with respect to their husband, husband's household, children; inheritance, marriage, divorce and so forth.

More than 350 of such problems and issues have been answered in this book by the former Grand M***i of Saudi Arabia Shaikh Ibn Baz, and the eminent scholars like Shaikh Ibn Uthaimin, Shaikh Ibn Jibreen and others.

From now on, In this page of mine I will try to present some of those questions with answers from this book which I found will be beneficial for a lot of women.

There are certain times dua (supplication) is more likely to be accepted by Allah (SWT) as mentioned by Prophet (SAW). These times are as follows:

1. The Last Third Of The Night
2. Late at night
3. Between Adhan and Iqamah
4. An Hour On Friday (From Asar to Maghreb)
5. While Drinking Zamzam Water
6. While Prostrating
7. When Waking Up at Night
8. At The End Of The Obligatory Salat:
9. The Night Of 'Qadr' (Decree)
10. During The Rain
11. At the Adhan
12. The One Who Is Suffering Injustice and Oppression
13. The Traveler
14. The Parent's Supplication for their Child
15. Dua after praising Allah and giving salam on the Prophet (SAW) in the tashahhud at the end of salat.
16. The dua of a Muslim for his absent brother or sister Muslim stemming from the heart.
17. Dua on the Day of Arafat
18. Dua during the month of Ramadan
19. Dua when the Armies meet
20. When Muslims gather for the purpose of invoking and remembering Allah (Dhikrullah).
21. First Ten days of Dhul-Hijjah
22. Dua when the heart reaches out to Allah and is ready to be totally sincere
23. At Midnight
25. Dua of people after the death of a person
26. Dua of the one fasting until he breaks his fast.
27. Dua of the one fasting at the time of breaking fast
29. Dua of a just Ruler
30. Dua of a son or daughter obedient to his or her parents
31. Dua immediately after wudu
32. Dua after stoning the Jamarat at Hajj
33. At the Crowing of a Rooster
34. Du'a made inside the Ka'bah
35. Du'a on the mount of Safa or Marwah during Umrah or Hajj
36. Dua at any of the holy sites.
37. While reciting Surah al-Fatihah
38. Saying 'Ameen' during prayer
39. While visiting the sick, and dua made by the sick

Dear brothers and sisters no matter what happens do not refrain yourself from making more and more dua. Allah will accept all of our duas in every situation. Not a single dua is rejected by Allah if we do it fulfilling the basic requirements.

May Allah Accept all of our dua and bless us all with Jannah. Ameen.
