Today, I was at the World Trade Organization - WTO HQ in Geneva, Switzerland, to discuss and gain some insight about Nigeria's economic recovery (relative to the role of trade and investment), given the dire straits we are in.

I thank Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala most sincerely for her time, frank engagement, useful advice and guidance. I remain committed to building a better Nigeria for the future generations.

The hospitable Christ today feeds His body with His body .

Today we are call to reflect on the two kinds of the body of Christ. That is the body of Christ as in the holy Eucharist and then the body of Christ as the church.
Christ in the second reading of today calls us to receive His body and and blood not something like his body and blood.
The Catholic church holds the holy Eucharist in high esteem because for her by the words of consecration( transubstantiation) the element of bread and wine becomes the true body and blood of Christ .By that the authority of the Catholic Priesthood who by the virtue of his ordination has the power in consecration to turn elements into Communion is made known.
That is the reason why the priest who stands in Person of Christ during the consecration say this is my body not like my body...

Christ also holds his body that is the church in a very high esteem, that is why like a pelican bird Christ Pierces himself and feeds his people with His body and blood for their nourishment and for their salvation. And that He has made vivid in our gospel reading of today where He decided to feed the multitude of people with his bread especially those who gathered to listen to Him.
As Christian on Sunday we gather in the church to break the word as well as the holy Eucharist. St Paul says "receiving the holy Eucharist unworthily leads us to condemnation.
Today we are called to go for the sacrament of reconciliation that is confession in order to receive Christ worthily . Also we are called to love unconditionally for Christ loves us dearly. We too most love and live out this love even if it will cost our life. TRY TO FEED AT LEAST ONE HUNGRY TODAY.
