I saw The Pact last night - a movie about Karen Blixen at the - Scandinavian Film Festival. It was really good!

The pre ads included Expeditions IKEA and others.

The Oscar nominations 2022 are out, and we are excited to see no less than five Danish nominations 😍 The Danish film "Flee" is the first ever film to be nominated in the following three categories at the same time:

⭐ International Feature Film
⭐ Documentary Feature
⭐ Animated Feature Film

Nightmare Alley is nominated for best Cinematography, which has Danish photographer Dan Laustsen behind the camera. And in the category Live Action Short Film, the Danish film On My Mind secures a nomination.

Never before has Denmark had five nominations in the same year. Best of luck and congratulations to every nominee! 🌟

I think one of the best things about Australia is the food. My guest NordiChefKati - Kati Turkia agrees with me on this. Kati is a young, super talented chef based in Sydney. Her love for food started while learning to cook with the seasonal ingredients from her Grandmother’s garden in Finland.
In spite of her young age, Kati has gained great experience in working with multicultural cuisines in Finland, Spain and, over the past 9 years, in various restaurants in Sydney.

We also discuss how, to Kati’s surprise, she has found a niche market in Australia with her catering business for her Finnish specialities.

You will learn from Kati how:

- her perseverance has helped form her successful career
- she has learned to work with multicultural restaurant kitchen teams
- Finnish food culture is based on seasons
