Happy Book Birthday to ATOSS!

I am so proud to be part of Alison’s publishing team for her debut novel, A Trace of Something Stranger!

When Alison came to me with the manuscript for this book, I knew it was going to be special. Some books, like some people, feel like they’re going to be friends from the first second you meet them and I fell effortlessly into this world. I could practically hear the voices of the characters when I read the dialogue, and I could easily picture myself riding on the bus right beside Tempest.

I jumped at the chance to help her get the manuscript ready for publishing and then gave her what must have felt like endless notes. She was always ready to work and each rewrite just got better and better as Alison pushed herself, and poured herself into this project. It was a joy to work with her and watch her raw talent maturing with every draft. Her dedication paid off, and she delivered a story that I know you’re all going to love.

Congratulations, Alison. I can’t wait for everyone to read this!

I’m having a very good day. Today is the day that I get to announce that I (or rather we here at Sungrazer) will be publishing out FIRST debut novel. Another pretty amazing thing about today is that I get introduce the author herself.

I’ve had the privilege to work with Allison Giordano as her editor/mentor on this project, and I have no doubt you are all going to love her, her work, her freckles, her fantastic attitude, pretty much the whole thing she’s got going on—it’s like the combination of a familiar hug and breath of fresh air.
