So, just throwing back to a Gympie Muster about a decade ago, when one of my support workers decided to have a few too many beverages while “on duty” 😄

Let me set the scene for you. It was pouring rain. My mum was away on one of her trips to Ireland. I was out at the muster with 3 of my support team. Basically, due to some impaired judgement and a little too much partying 😉, I kinda got BOGGED in the mud in my chair 😂

We laugh now, but at the time I didn’t find it funny. Mum wouldn’t have either, had we have told her at the time 🙊 We had to leave my chair out in the sun for a week, in the hopes that it’d dry out before she got home from overseas- HA!

Thankfully, in true Gympie muster form that night, a group of awesome muster goers came to my rescue and I’ll always be so grateful. They chucked my chair in the back of someone’s Ute and put me in the front, and drove me back to our camp. I got to bed at 2am and ended up with a bad dose of the flu, but that was about it.

I guess the moral of this story for support workers is, if you’re on shift, lay off the sauce 😂 This was support worker “E”’s last shift with me for obvious reasons, but I still get a kick outta thinkin back on this night.

I wanna give a massive shout out to the fellas that helped us out and got me back to camp that night. I’ll remember it always. Legends!! 💪🏼

I’m still on a high from a brilliant weekend in Brisbane last weekend. Paul Kelly at the Riverstage on Saturday night was the highlight and he was fantastic as always 🙏🏼

Cheers to the staff at the venue too. They were awesome and looked after us so well 👌🏼😃

Hi and welcome to my page. My name’s Dan and I’m a 32 year old bloke living in Gympie, Queensland. I’m passionate about music, travelling and pretty much just living life to its fullest.

Little Whine Productions came about after some songwriting sessions and trips on the road with my very talented good mate Linc Phelps. We decided why not show folks the music we’ve made, the places I’ve travelled and share some of my happiest moments and life experiences.

So, why Little Whine? When I was a young fella, my parents LOVED the show Mork and Mindy. Remember that show? 😊 There was a hilarious moment when while Mork (Robin Williams) was on a date with a woman, she asked him for a “little wine”, so he let out a very annoying WHINE. And well, I don’t mind having a bit of “whine” at times, and so Little Whine Productions was born 😂

I’ve rubbed shoulders with some of the greats of the music industry and have travelled far and wide to be at music festivals and events all over our great country. I’ve had the privilege of meeting and befriending some truly extraordinary people who I’ve made fantastic memories with. Memories that I can’t wait to share with you all.
