Honestly, I'm so sick of feeling like I need to 'justify' that I still love my child when patenting brings with it the whole spectrum of emotions.
So I'm not doing it anymore. I get touched out, overwhelmed and need a break.
The appropriate response is not, but you love her? Or but you love being a parent?

It hurt 😣 Annnnd, was the catalyst to putting in changes that have me feeling more free already. 😌
If you are in a caring role, at home, at work or even both, being aware of your signs of burnout is so important ✨
You are not less of a mum if you are burntout from parenting.
You aren't less of an employee,
or less as a person.
It's a sign you need changes to be sustainable.
Maybe less of some things and more of others.
For me, less of some work, and more structure to allow the time for other tasks that have been feeling like pressure.
More me time to care for myself.
More connection time with my people - and scheduling that time as precious
And, rest with compassion and love. ❤️

I don't want another baby.. I do miss my baby.
The gift of being able to travel back to enjoy just for 1 hour my child at a younger age would be priceless..
It's the bittersweet joy and grief of parenting, to love the person they are and who they are becoming and also miss the person they were.
