As per WWF Sunda tiger is one of the Critically Endangered Species, estimated to be fewer than 400 today (Year 2021). They are distinguished by heavy black stripes on their orange coats. Sunda island tigers are holding on for survival in the remaining forest on the island of Sumatra. Accelerating deforestation and rampant poaching are the reason why this noble creature could end up extinct.
