Crazy golf and eating out is back on the agenda as more outlets re-open at Rushden Lakes this weekend.

Following the recent update from the UK government, restaurants and some leisure businesses will be able to re-open at Rushden Lakes from Saturday (July 4).

Bill’s and Wildwood will be re-opening on Saturday (July 4) and have put in place a number of measures to ensure the safety of both staff and their guests...

The Jack and Jill Day Nursery, Rushden is due to reopen!

**Important notice**

Good morning all, we hope you are well. Just to let you know we are re-opening on Monday 1st June, subject to Government guidelines. We have sent out an email to all parents to inform you of this information, but if for any reason you haven’t received this email please let us know.
If you are planning on bringing your children in from this date, you MUST let us know. Unfortunately we cannot accept children who are not on the list as we must ensure the government guidelines are followed. If you do require childcare, you must make sure you let us know by Thursday 28th May at the latest. Northamptonshire Telegraph - A Rushden care home says it is working on a number of action points after inspectors said they need to improve.

Inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) visited Higham House Nursing Home in Rushden, in February.

Following the unannounced visit, they rated the home in Higham Road as requiring improvement in all five areas of whether the service is safe, effective, caring, responsible and well-led.

Northamptonshire Telegraph - Police officers have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a 17-year-old girl was s*xually assaulted in the Needle and Awl pub in Northampton Road, Rushden.

The incident happened on Thursday, February 27, at about 9.40pm, when the girl was approached by a man who made advances towards her - this was before pubs were ordered to close their doors due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
