Sometimes, we focus so much on what we are doing for God that we forget who we are in Him. Joshua 22 LASB reminds us that if we truly know we are God’s children, we will love and serve Him joyfully.

Becoming a mom has made me realize how difficult it is to have uninterrupted and unhurried time with the Lord. My quiet moments now depend on my baby’s naps, often squeezed between household chores and other responsibilities. I used to find fulfillment in serving through ministries, actively giving my time to the Body of Christ. But in this new season, I now understand something deeper: Motherhood is a kingdom ministry.

Every diaper change, every sleepless night, every meal prepared—these are not just tasks. They are acts of love and service to the Lord. I may not be serving in the way I used to, but the reason remains the same: to honor and glorify God in all that I do, through my words, my actions, and how I care for the family He has entrusted to me.

Iba man sa nakasanayan, pero iisa ang dahilan. Paglingkuran, pagsilbihan, at mapapurihan ang Diyos sa aking ginagawa, sa salita at sa gawa, as I serve my family. ❤️

To every mom who feels like she’s missing out on “serving God” in the traditional sense, let me encourage you. What you are doing is already worship. Loving and nurturing your family is a sacred calling, and in this season, this is how we joyfully serve our Master and King. 🙌🏼

“how do you do it? working nights and being a mom to three toddlers must be so hard.” i get this question a lot. and honestly, it is... hard. i don’t know how I manage most days, but I do know this: it’s only by God’s grace that I’m sustained.

five days before Christmas of 2023 was when i lost my job. that moment felt like everything was falling apart. but now, a year later, i'm in a new role and continuously growing and learning in ways I never expected. It hasn’t been easy—there have been long nights, tears, and moments of doubt—but God’s grace has carried me every single step of the way.

it has has been filled with challenges, but it’s also been filled with growth. every late night at this desk—every tear I cried, every cup of coffee that fueled my thoughts—has led to moments of quiet satisfaction and victories, both big and small.

may this desk continue to see what I am capable of. may it bear witness to more growth, more triumphs, and more victories—because I know there’s more ahead. ♡

but then, as i catch my tiny work-from-home buddy's sweet yawns and little snores - I'd remember why i do it all. 💜

Life's gone crazy! Everything's a rush - errands, emails, that never-ending to-do list. Writing used to be my way to chill, to forget about bills and dirty clothes. Now, it feels like a total stranger. I miss getting lost in my own thoughts, stringing words together that make sense. But hey, maybe, just maybe, there's a quiet corner waiting amidst the chaos. Just a few snatched minutes here and there, to get that feeling back. Even in this whirlwind, there's something I gotta say, and I won't let my brain go quiet completely.

I miss writing.

We had a fantastic day exploring Doulos Hope, the world's largest floating bookstore. They're now docked at the Manila port.

Even with a 2-year-old and a baby in tow, we managed a relaxing hour browsing their vast selection of affordable books.

Ariana, our bookworm daughter, found a treasure trove and can't wait to share them in her vlog soon. 💖

They have a comfy cafe with tables and chairs which was perfect for breaks in between. They have friendly staffs who'll assist you there :)

Doulos Hope is a unique place for book lovers of all ages! Don't miss it before it sails away! They're at manila until the 14th of April 📚

We get to endure the hard times, enjoy the good times, forgive when we're hurt, and apologize when we're wrong. It's not because we're good, but because Jesus is good. It takes a lot of work to keep Him first in any relationship, but the work is so so so worth it.

you and I, mama, we are alike.
we're both trying to do everything, all at once.
we think that if we don't do it -- we'll be called failures.

but you know what, we can take everything, one day at a time, too.

we can do the laundry today and fold the clothes tomorrow.
we can have productive mondays and slow tuesdays, too.

we can drink our coffee while it's hot. :)

motherhood isn't easy -- and it's not meant to be one.

but I hope that, you and me, we'll try harder to embrace the chaos and flow along with it.
