💖 Ninewise Publishing recently supported the Warrior Family Books’ heartwarming NICU fundraiser at Tufts Medical Center by donating nearly 50 copies of 𝘼𝙫𝙖’𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙝. 💕 Adrianna and Joe Costanzo, founders of Warrior Family Books, aim to provide new baby books 📚 to families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

These books will offer inspiration and resilience to families during challenging times, uplifting both parents and babies 👶 through the empowering message of 𝘼𝙫𝙖’𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙝.

We also proudly donated nearly 50 additional books to support babies and families in NICUs in partnering hospitals 🏥 in the Kansas area. 📖 The donated books, 𝘼𝙫𝙖’𝙨 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙪𝙢𝙥𝙝 and 𝙊𝙨𝙘𝙖𝙧 𝙂𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙤𝙣, written by early childhood educators, share heartwarming stories of resilience, friendship, and community-building. 👫

This initiative was made possible thanks to Ashley Higgins, NICU Family Support Program Coordinator at March of Dimes 🕊️, who coordinated, collected, and delivered the books to NICUs. Ashley’s mission is supported by a collaborative effort with Babies With Books, a student-led nonprofit bringing early literacy 📖 to healthcare settings. 🐇🎨9W friends at Penfield Children’s Center met our sweet Ava! 🎉

⭐️Our Director of Education and Community Connections was lucky enough to head back to Penfield Children’s Center to read another adorable 9W story to a multi-aged Head Start classroom with children from 3 years to 6 years old.

📖”Ava’s Triumph,” written by Mary Miller and Linda Woo, is an engaging story of resilience and empathy that tells the tale of a young artist overcoming an unfortunate mishap. Heartbroken, Ava pushes herself to overcome the setback with dignity and hard work. Ava’s final painting is a triumph of her own, celebrated by the heart-warming support of her friends.

⭐️ Despite the range of ages, the class reacted to the story with engaging comments and questions. We could pick out the evolving emotions, family, and community support woven throughout the story. Such a fun and interactive morning!

🐶 Puppy met a few new friends at Penfield Children’s Center! 🎉

📚 Kelly LeGrand, Director of Education and Community Connections for 9W, had the opportunity to read to an early Head Start classroom at Penfield earlier in May.

The little ones loved 𝙇𝙚𝙩’𝙨 𝙂𝙤, 𝙋𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙮! 🐾

A few participated by repeating words/sounds and giggled along to Puppy’s silliness throughout the story! 🥳

9W books are designed to engage children in speech and cognitive development and have been featured in various early childhood learning centers and hospitals as valuable resources for families. ❤️

Much like the goal of Penfield Children’s Center, we continue to focus our mission on curating parenting wisdom. 🌟

🌿🌎🚶‍♂️ Celebrate Earth Day with a Nature Walk! 🚶‍♀️🌍🌿

We are thrilled to share the upcoming release of a children’s book titled I Hear Nature 📚👂. This fold-out picture book is written for children aged 2-7 and focuses on the sounds of nature and imagination 🌱🦋. The author, Clay Hadden, is a pediatric speech-language pathologist and an expert in childhood communication 🧑‍⚕️📝.

I Hear Nature introduces the concept of prediction-making throughout the story and provides tips on how to engage children with the book while reading and how to extend the learning experience to nature walks 📖🌳.
