"Land of palm trees, blue seas and golden sands"

With its pristine beaches and breathtaking landscapes, Gokarna is a Hindu pilgrimage town in Karnataka and a newly found hub for beach lovers and hippies. Situated on the coast of Karwar, every year Gokarna welcomes hordes of tourists from around the world in search of sanctity and relaxation. The out-of-town beaches like Kudle beach and Om Beach are a different contrast to life inside the town.

Palm clad beaches are dotted with foreign tourists in a majority and very few Indians are seen across. Gokarna is not very conventionally touristy. The beaches are meant for a slow, relaxed holiday and everything on the beach goes at the same relaxed pace. Full of coconut and palm trees, the ocean and clean sands, Gokarna is a 'one of a kind' place in the country.

I must say that even the road leading to Ladakh has its own appeal. When you’re about to reach Ladakh, the very first glimpse of this snow laden heaven brings a twinkle to your eyes! Just imagine looking down on a silent, placid, greenish blue lake – beautiful, isn’t it?  Or imagine the sight of magnificent mountains greeting you – that was a welcome I can never forget. There's nothing more enchanting than nature's handiwork in Ladakh... And then as you enter Leh, the characteristic mountains greet you with their silent white faces.

उत्तराखंड के जोशीमठ में बड़ा हादसा हुआ है. जोशीमठ में ग्लेशियर गिरने से डैम (Dam Broken in Uttarakhand Joshimath) टूट गया है. इसमें कई लोगों के बहे जाने की बात कही जा रही है. जो लोग बहे हैं वे निचले इलाकों में रहने वाले बताए गए हैं. बताया जा रहा है कि तपोवन के ऊपर से किसी नदी के फटने की वजह से ऐसा हुआ है. जिस नदी के फटने की बात कही जा रही है, उसे धौली गंगा भी कहा जाता है. जिस वक्त यह बर्फीला तूफान आया उस वक्त जोशीमठ में अच्छी खासी धूप खिली हुई थी, जिससे भी लोग हैरान हैं.

इस भयंकर हादसे पर राज्य के सीएम त्रिवेंद्र सिंह रावत का भी बयान आ गया है. उन्होंने कहा, टचमोली जिले से एक आपदा का समाचार मिला है. जिला प्रशासन, पुलिस विभाग और आपदा प्रबंधन को इस आपदा से निपटने की आदेश दे दिए हैं. किसी भी प्रकार की अफवाहों पर ध्यान ना दें. सरकार सभी जरूरी कदम उठा रही है.’

Ghats of Varanasi represents real facts of life, a day when you see these ghats and river, its busy where you don't find to place to step on. The same place in the night it's so calm and peaceful.
The day represents your childhood full of activities and nigh represents wiseness, maturity and kindness about the life of old age.
Varanasi is just not “City of million lights" but much more than what we expect or feel. I was there during Dev Diwali festival, almost half a million people must on ghats, keeping clam was impossible. I saw this sadhu who was sitting calm and doing mediation in a loud place without worry of anyone.
Ganga river ghats here is the place of contract, one side you find life ends and dead-bodies are on fire and next side people a busy celebration of the festival.
One side happiness of festivity, another side of sadness of someone's life end and this sadhu is just top of all keep all worldly worries on the side and much within the mediation. This is lifecycle which Varanasi teaches us.

It was time for Changpa nomads to return back to their rebos (tents) after a day-long walk around in valley in search of food for their beloved Pashmina (Cashmere) goats and the sun was in hurry too to hind behind the mountains. They were walking quickly and dust was in air to create drama, I got an opportunity to create this image of Pashmina herds and Changpa nomads walking in dusty dusk in Ladakh.

The massive edifice of Hawa Mahal stands at the intersection of the main road in Jaipur, Badi Chaupad and was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799. Hawa Mahal derives its name from its unique structure, which is a mesh of small windows that allowed cool wind to enter the palace and hence kept the palace comfortable during the hot summer months. The main reason behind the palace's construction was to allow the women of the royal house to observe the festivities on the streets whilst being unseen from the outside as was the custom of the land.

Optimism. It’s an often overlooked trait but one that I consistently think about when taking and editing photos. It’s seeing the beauty of a place, even on a gloomy day. It’s not letting expectations ruin experiences. Most importantly, it’s seeing the world as the colorful, beautiful place I know it can be. In a world full of uncertainty, we could all use more feel good moments. That’s what I strive for whenever I post a pic on here.
