We’re excited to announce our participation in a new project called Climate Facts Europe coordinated by the European Fact-Checking Standards Network, supported by the European Climate Foundation.

The project’s goal is to increase cross-country collaboration in detecting and debunking climate disinformation while promoting access to verified climate information through a climate-focused fact-checking database. 🔎 🌱

In addition to the public database, Climate Facts Europe establishes an alert system to raise the alarm about viral cross-border climate disinformation campaigns and narratives.

The project will also result in four long form reports covering a range of climate-related topics.
