I always planed to get back to streaming, it was fun, learning the ins and outs of all of it is useful information, for sure. I do plan to finish all the small music things I’ve collected over the years, but not anytime soon. As far as live gaming goes, nah.

Streamers, or “content creators” rather, did serve a lot of people a purpose during the pandemic. You could find a place to hang out, and feel comfortable. It was nothing like going out, but, it was the closest a lot of us could get.

As things went back to normal, wait….

This s*t isn’t normal.

As things… resumed, all fkd up and what not, ppl started going out, and a lot of the new streamers had to find a ways for views, and likes and comments (and revenue).

Todays it’s like

Creators normal content: 50 likes, 10 comments

Creators celebrity dirty laundry content: 50 likes, 100s of comments.

This is what I mean by baited topics; Let’s get controversial (and miss the entire point of that word and pick someone's personal s*t) and wait for that one specific reply, and digitally castrate them!

Rome might be proud. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ (I don’t know too much of Rome).

Welp, kinda fkd up (but not really).

Playing TotK, used a guide early on for one shrine and the answer was so obvious (new acquired ability) I haven’t used one again. But my feed became different and I saw “how to get the (weapon you want)”. and I read it.

And so… I did it. What it didn’t tell me was how much of the story will be spoiled as you do so.

So, as I continue to play the rest of the game, with my beloved… (not trying to spoil), as the main story unfolds(in the beautiful cutscenes), I already know a big something they don’t.

So, just a heads up. I don’t think it’s ruined the game at all, but, I can see a clear order of the story, and it would have been neat to discover that more natural.

Streams will resume soon (but, by whos definition?). Kinda started to fall in love with the old games; for awhile there games = FPS to me, and that got super stale. So, imma be doing other types of games. But first, gotta get the head right. Forgot how much I loved these things.

No bragging; Just noticed FB paid out all the stars accumulated while streaming.

I didn’t go hard, I barley gave it the college try (my interest was/is really: “how does it work?”).

This is $93 more than anyone thought it would generate. Haters hate, because they aren’t doers. Don’t listen, if you wanna “stream”, do it. It’s not hard, but it takes courage and a drive to repeat. Heh, it’s not easy either.

All I’m saying is, it’s possible. I had zero expectation of revenue. But, there it is.

SO SAD to announce This:

AFTER 30 years plus of gaming , I am posting this with a heavy heart. 😢😢😢

I love PC/VR gaming and everything that comes with it.
With that said, I am officially done in #2022! Things are taking up too much of my time. I’m struggling to keep up with the everyday chores of cooking, cleaning and maintaining my home, so something has to give. I have decided to get rid of all my gear.

I’m a nobody streamer, I admit that. I got into it cause of the tech, more then the spotlight. It’s fkn neat how this s*t has evolved in my life. I will admit, there’s a little of that “I can be a rock star!” vibe to it though, I mean, who would deny that? (Snap, let’s forget that I did exactly that well before an opportunity of make it was ever in sight. Touring musician is not my life). I’ve been humbled by my music career as soon as I realized it wasn’t worth working for, to me. I’d rather be a hired gun and done.

But, anyway, it bums me out to see the majority of streamers sort of disregard the causal player in the new, bestest ever, mmo. That casual gamer is the reason they have a job streaming games. The general attitude of a majority of streamers is that their supports are also their fodder content.

I do tend to look to much into things, totally possible here. But, that’s the gist I get from most of them. To the few who appreciate the gift, mad props.
