All the tracks for the Ramones tribute 'LOBOTOMY - A Tribute To The Ramones' are done and ready for print. Next up mastering and after that? PRESSING!!

I am, as I'm writing this, coming up with sick vinyl colors, artwork and various gimmicks.

NEW RELEASE COMING UP!!
Imperial Shark - SPEEDORAMA

Some years ago I was talking to my friend Max about the (then) upcoming Misfits tribute "All Hell Breaks Loose - A Tribute to The Misfits'.
Instantly he invited his own band to be part of it. I never heard the band (Nobody had, because they hadn't released anything at that point).
Fortunately for me (and everbody buying the record) their cover of 'Where Eagles Dare" rocked. I was instantly in love with their sound.
At the release of said Misfits Tribute Imperial Shark blew me away. I was a believer. I was so excited several of the members thought I was on coke (I wasn't).
Right away I offered to release any upcoming record of theirs on vinyl!

Well... here we are. here it (almost) is:
IMPERIAL SHARK - SPEEDORAMA on 12" vinyl.
A slab of vinyl consisting of their first EP and a bunch of brand new tracks!!

The release will be celebrated at Beta (CPH) on the 25th of April!

With 2024 coming to an end, I guess it would be a good time for a recap.
The year started off with a bang! The Misfits tribute 12" was a success and pretty much sold out over night. The end result was way better than anyone could have expected.
It was such a success, that I made the decision to start working on the Ramones tribute 'LOBOTOMY - A tribute to the Ramones'.
Same concept, different subject.
The Ramones tribute should be ready mid-25.
Of course we'll do a release party for this one too at Beta!

Thanks to everybody involved with both projects!

Also: I have just sent Skind og Ben's 12" 'Overgang til undergang' to the pressing plant!
Straight up punk-rock, with members of Motorsav, Smertegrænsens Toldere and Hævner.
Skind og Ben were active from 2007 - 2012.
When they unceremoniously split up, they had an entire record worth of material that was never recorded.

In 2023 leadsinger Tore, Frederik, Johan and Rune booked a weekend at to record the material.

The record is gonna be limited to 200 copies and should be out this summer!

It's been a quiet, yet busy year.

If you keep track on what's going on in the Danish alternative/hardcore scene, you should have heard of EYES by now.
EYES is probably the most prolific Hardcore (but not the kind Dee Dee would have sung)/noise/whatever you wanna call it band in DK right now and I can't wait to hear their interpretation of the boys from Queens!

Featured on the Misfits tribute comp. I released earlier this year, I liked their take on the Misfits so much, that I asked them to come back for this one too.

Nuff said.
