Tomorrow on TCL at 6 PM, we have the amazing Reeham Hakem (AThR). .therapeutics is an Art Therapist seeking to create and offer spaces of curiosity, where we can question the stories we tell of who we are and open ourselves to the possibilities revealed.
She is a graphic designer, turned public space artist, turned community art worker who is now a registered Art Therapist based in Melbourne.
Art and artistic practice have been with her since she was a child, but its purpose morphed from one to another, addressing different aspects of her lived experience – her identity, spirituality, gender and advocacy for others.
As a woman of colour, Reeham is especially invested in offering spaces of support and growth to other women of colour, who are the forefront of some of the most important conversations for the sake of our communities.

Another superstar researcher of The Creative Lens. Hey . Here is a bit about Jurie:
"Salam! My name is Jurie and I am currently completing an honours year in Biomedical Science. My honours is research focused, so I can quite easily summarise a paper if anyone needs that service.
My respone towards most things is either "Do you have evidence?" or "It's not that big of a deal." I'm not the most artistic which is why I get fairly excited about people with any kind of talent. With that in mind, I am very excited to be a part of the Creative Lens team and hope that I can bring an additional perspective to this already diverse group of ladies.

I also hope that this show continues to be a gateway for people to learn about new ideas and issues. "

This is Sneha. She is our researcher. Welcome her to TCL. Here's a bit about our new teammate:
"I'm Sneha!! I’m currently a 2nd Year Arts student at UniMelb, majoring in Criminology & Sociology.

At this stage my future feels fluid; as I have just started exploring the multiplicity of myself. At the moment I’m incredibly interested into delving into my creative side; unpacking the nuance of the world around me (however big or small that may feel at times). Consequently allowing me to introspect within myself and my experiences navigating the world.

Honestly, that’s why I’m excited to join The Creative Lens team as a Researcher! I can’t wait so engage more critically on discourse and nuance of differing perspectives that might not be engaged with in mainstream media. I’m also so grateful to be able to meet and work with some dazzlingly creative and inspiring people in the process 💞"
