If there is 1️⃣ thing I learned from my mom’s passing is to make sure you always tell people how you feel. I know it can be hard or your 🧠 can get in the way. Believe me...I know...💯

Tell your loved ones how much they matter to you in your life. No reason to keep that bottled up. They won’t ever know if you don’t say it. I am glad I told her how much I loved her the last time I saw her. I never knew it would be my last 🥺🕊

The 30/50 Summit has been an amazing experience 🙌🏻 From reuniting with Huma Abedin, to talking about tackling mental health challenges with Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, meeting one of my favorite actresses Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, dancing 💃🏾with Shania Twain and making new friends - I feel truly blessed ✨

Every woman I met this past week is a source of inspiration. Each with their own stories 📖 that brought them here and the desire to mentor and learn from one another.

Isn’t that what this day of all about? 🤔

Learning about each others stories, celebrating 🎉the milestones we have achieved and figuring out how we can help one another become the best versions of themselves while helping each others goals become a reality. Living that motto is where I find women become most successful.

There is room for all of us to achieve our dreams as long as we are willing to be there for one another. 🤗

Nothing beats the surprise of receiving your diploma in the mail 🤗 but this path wasn’t easy…

Starting a business and going through a rigorous program simultaneously was definitely a challenge. I wanted to quit when I started after I realized what I signed up for.🤦🏽‍♀️

When I believed I could do this and focused on what I can do to make this happen instead of why this is impossible - it became a reality.

I didn’t start at the fullest workload. I decided to ease in to get my mind back in the mode of making room to learn. I started with one class instead or 2-3. Did it take me a little longer to finish? Yes, but I finished in a way that fit where my life was. Remember: There is no rush if you will end up quitting 💯

Figure out what works for you!

It’s surreal to think about a life without multiple night classes a week 😂

Now I’m looking at PhD programs and Adjunct Professor roles because I want to share my knowledge with others. You would think after finishing two masters degrees that I would stop but learning and sharing knowledge with one another should never stop. 💡

Part of my success and growth as a leader is always living this mantra: I practice by day what I learn at night. 🙌🏻

Final thought: While what I learned was useful, it was truly the people I met at that changed my life - from the professors to my classmates, I can’t wait to see you in the future!
