Hats off to Tim Buelna, Shane Leverett, and crew for creating this unique and creative short film for the latest 48 Hour Film Project. Their long history of quick turnaround projects has set them up to be able to create projects like this in 48 hours or less. From initial concept to completion in that amount of time is remarkable.

They did not place this year, but it was exciting to know that we had multiple teams from middle GA represented, and hope to see more over time. For now, check out their video, and leave them a comment.

The 2nd Annual Middle GA Talent Showcase & Network Mixer is back on for 2021. Due to restrictions from COVID, we had to postpone this event. However, we will be screening three of the latest short films from Middle GA, along with other entertainment on Saturday, July 17th at the Macon Arts Center on Pio NoNo (old Whiskey River Comedy Club).

This will once again be a red carpet event with photographer, so dress to impress. Before and after the screenings will be an opportunity to grab your favorite cocktail and network with others. We are excited to announce that our emcees for the event will be Ricardo Randall and Shane Leverett. Be ready to laugh as these two guide you through the night's entertainment. Due to some restrictions, this event is only for adults 18 and over.

We will have writers, directors, actors, various crew talents, photographers, talent agents, and more at the event. This will be a great opportunity to network and strengthen the local arts scene here in Middle GA. Tickets will be available shortly online at www.maconartscenter.com and will be a better price now than at the door. Take advantage of this offer and get your tickets in advance. Remember, this may be the last time these films are scene publicly for some time, as some are still on the festival circuit.

An event page will be created, but the summary of the information needed is below. We look forward to sharing our latest projects with you, and meeting more Middle GA Talent!
