One year ago, Scott Houston decided to start this podcast - a musical experiment - as a means to self-express from a place creativity, depth, and intention to honor one the most relevant celestial cycles. John Shallcross is an Atlanta based electronic music artist, DJ, owner of ‘simulate’, largely inspired by the microhouse and minimalist styles developing out of Detroit and Germany during the early 2000’s. John is known for collaborating with Wiggle Factor (ATL), Group Therapy (SC), and Cardio ATL. True power is living and acting from who we really are and what we really want out of life. Be creative and let your creativity flow freely. Things could feel heightened during this Full Moon, or even extreme - it's a time of expansion and greatly magnified perception. Right now we're able to see the full growth of our intentions - the seeds we planted at the New Moon two weeks ago. A long-time music fiend, Jake Pugh created the Chasing alias in 2016 to bring high quality underground dance music to the dance floors of the Deep South in a way that would catalyze connection and growth. Specializing in emotive Deep House and Melodic Techno, Chasing is a newcomer with a passion for the Deeper side of dance music. As co-founder and head promoter of the Gravity series of House and Techno parties in Montgomery, Alabama, Chasing has planted a seed for a diverse and accepting underground music scene to take root. Tiffany Rita aka “ysheso__”, has delivered a beastly groove with some truly lunar vibes to let go for a while and howl during this Scorpionic/Vesak Full moon. Ysheso is a Lebanese-American underground house Dj based out of Atlanta, Georgia. The name ysheso__ is pronounced y-she-so _– the underscore is there so you can fill in the blank. Ysheso_ started her journey with house music over four years ago and has remained true to her sound. Ysheso brings a diverse style when it comes to Djing house music. From deep house, tech house,to minimal sounds. Ysheso__ has opened up for artists such as SIS, Brian Cid, Adisyn, Jade, Davi, Daniel Bell, Oshana, Lee Curtiss, Silky, and Elif. You can also find her laying down vibes in many of Atlanta's thriving music experiences such as Alley Cat Music Club, Project B.., and Motion Collectiv.

Can you feel it? How crazy it all is right now? If you are feeling uprooted from your former lives, it is possible feel into your spiritual roots to help ground and link yourself back into the larger web of Life that connects and sustains us all. Every possible resource we might require waits for us there!

I find it incredibly appropriate that Humano brought forth such a tribal sound for the 13th entry to LUNAR EXPRESSIONS, as today is also Earth Day - a celebration of the circle of life bestowed upon our planet. May you travel well with these hypnotic, earthy, minimal vibes. Thank you for listening 🙏🏾

Artist Bio:
HUMANO aka Esteban Hoyos was born at 11:11, deep in the forest where the energies of fallen tribes still remains intact till this very day. His indigenous nature flows into a fusion of percussion with a deep melodic groovy rhythm. The soil, roots, trees, leaves, sky and sun form an unbreakable connection with the people of earth, to create an elevated state of emotional conscience that in nature, is human.

In 2018, he opened Wildpitch Underground in Atlanta for Miami's hometown hero, Adisyn (Kindisch Records/Akbal Music/Get Physical). Recently, in April 2019, he even played a b2b with Willmer Pereira from NYC. Showing no signs of stopping in 2019, you can expect the unexpected from his deep tribal groovy sound aesthetic while always pushing the envelope by blurring the lines of genres, remaining true to his essence. Currently he is working on music production and his vinyl only sets. You can catch him on warm up duties along side SIS (Crosstown Rebels / Mobilee) in Charlotte very soon.
