Well I know we have been quiet for a long time! Just a quick update as we often get lovely messages asking how we are!.
In the last 12 months came close to buying a boat but didn’t as it was sinking!. Had a sad loss in the family, moved house to a nanny bungalow lol which is perfect for my art as I have a field and trees behind the garden so s beautiful view! So sadly this means no boat. But we are happy here so that’s good.
Had a few health issues including skin cancer back (just had the Opp), bulging disc in back touching nerve for a few weeks, left me number down one side but managing and it’s already becoming the new norm. Terry is very well but what your all asking is the important question? HOW IS DAISY? 🌼 well the other delight in my life is just an angel! All the time I was I’ll rarely left my side. She’s an absolute joy! Loves playing ball like a dog and still loves to travel!.
Not been anywhere in a good while a Luther Van posh not feeling posh at the moment!. Mot ran out and as we used it to moved home it’s a bit bashed about and worn inside!. Plans are to revamp inside and not mot it until beginning of April!. We have a few trips planned this year and don’t want the mot running out too early in 2026 hence the delay.
The other question we get asked is will there be more videos. Yes to a degree! There will be bits and bobs showing what we are up too here and there. When I used to fill all the time it meant standing longer than I was comfortable with and I always ended up in great pain in my back which made me miserable and took away a bit of the joy of what we were doing as a lot was to camera. So I’m going to try something different this year. Make sure you sub us on YouTube and hit the notification button. That way you won’t miss anything. Also in a few weeks I’m going to attempt some LIVE videos as travelling abroad! But this will depend on my mobile signal. Should be ok, I guess we will see.

To be fair it’s been a while since we owned a narrowboat! We are thinking of buying again, but just like everything prices seem to have shot up! the licence structure seems to have changed too?

Well we miss boating so much. Not sure how the canals and community have changed over the last few years, but one thing we do know, just like everything else...
