So let’s get into it… 🚨SAVE THIS POST so you actually implement this!🚨

Here are 4 proven ways to improve your engagement across Instagram:

1️⃣ LET YOUR STORIES EXPIRE 1X/WEEK Skip posting stories for at least 24hrs once a week (ie: over the weekend). Be super intentional with your first story back! Showing your face + talking about something your ICA cares about is an easy way to “remind” your followers why they should pay attention to your stories.

2️⃣ ADD A SERIES TO YOUR CONTENT A series includes multiple parts that expand upon a topic, ie: “How to do XYZ (part 1), part 2, part 3, etc. This works to create “binge-ability” in your content, so when someone sees (part 4), they’re likely to want to know what they missed in part 1-3 (which increases engagement!)

3️⃣ MAKE YOUR CTA POST-SPECIFIC The BIG mistake I see all over social media is that people keep their CTA (call-to-actions) way too general…. and then wonder why no one’s engaging. 🫠 “Drop a ❤️” has no context and gives the viewer no reason to take action. Instead, try relating the CTA back to the topic addressed in the post, ie: “Drop a ❤️ if you want try this recipe!”

4️⃣ GO LIVE WEEKLY This creates MASSIVE connection & trust with your existing audience. And it’s been said that when you go live on Instagram or TikTok, the app will push out your recent content boosting both engagement & discoverability!

One more thing… These tips will only help GOOD content get BETTER engagement, but they won’t help bad content get better. (I guess that’s a topic for another post 😜)
