Another tournament in the books! Needed a couple more big ones to get us close to in the money but we finished middle of the pack on a lake I’ve never been too and Chase hasn’t been to abunch, had a limit and Culled.

The Georgia Deer Management Plan is due for an update, and we need your input!

WRD’s successful deer management efforts are informed through biological data, public input and management objectives identified in the agency’s statewide deer management plan.

Your participation is important as WRD begins development of the next Georgia Deer Management Plan, so we request your input at any of the three upcoming meetings taking place March 5-7. The public can drop in at any time during the open house-style meetings where biologists and others will be available to answer questions about the key issues and provide background information.

Those unable to attend a meeting can access the online questionnaire at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MPNW7V5, which will be available through April 7, 2024.

Our first tournament of the year is in the books! We finished in the top 5 and just shy of third, just couldn’t seem to get that one big bite to help us out. Onto the next one!
