KCCA NEW LEADERSHIP
Last week on Tuesday 24th/09/2024, the presidential Press Unit released a statement where the President of the Republic of Uganda H. E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni acted on the report released by the Inspector General of Government (IGG) and dismissed 3 KCCA officials ie
1. Mrs. Dorothy Kisaka – -Executive Director
2. Engineer David Luyimbazi – Deputy Executive Director
3. Dr. Daniel Okello -Director of Public Health
There dismissal was sparked by the IGG’s report which clearly outlined severe oversight and negligence.
Two days later Frank Russa was appointed the Ag Executive Director of KCCA, Mr Nowera Robert was appointed the deputy executive director of KCCA replacing Eng. David Luyimba Ssali, Zalwango Karen was also appointed to replace Dr. Okello Daniel as Director of Public Health all in Acting capacity.
We want to congratulate all the new leaders in KCCA more so Mr Frank Russa for the new assignments.
We continue to appealing to you to work with utmost integrity in order to avoid mistakes of the predecessors.
KCCA is full of mafias which you should be careful when dealing with them because some times they want you to act on their orders.
Kindly stick to the law and act accordingly to the code of conduct of KCCA.
We therefore want to commend the IGG to always be quick in releasing the reports just like it did in Kiteezi.
We therefore request the IGG to use the same methods to investigate about the Agricultural government ranchs because many have been taken over by individuals, why some people are allowed to construct in wetlands and others don't.
DP Block
Last week we heard some incidence where some people were masquerading as DP Block members, they also went ahead to endorse a presidential candidate in the coming General elections.
We want to inform the general public that DP Block was body which was agreed upon to moblise the former DP members through the UYD Re- Union caravan.
It was clearly stated that Democratic Party was the main principal of the M.O.U. However when NUP was formed, some members decided to move to that party and continuously wanted to use the same forum DP Block to achieve their selfish gains.
Democratic party challenge it in the courts of law and court dissolved an entity in the names of DP Block.
We are therefore calling upon the general public not to take individuals calling themselves DP Block because they driving their selfish agenda.
Democratic Party constitutionally elects it's presidential candidate through the Delegate's conference which we hope to hold before the end of this year.
We therefore call upon all the DP members to dis-associate from such events because they're mon- existent.
