ECBP VS LBP WHO YOU GOT???

These two were the heavy hitters of our tasting groups “August Burns Red” (high proof whiskey in August). I think both are great. The Larceny has a lot of toasted marshmallow and dusty oak to it that I really enjoyed. The Elijah Craig had a bit narrower palate in terms of flavor, but the fruit notes really shine on the palate. I like both very much (both scored a 7.5 or higher) but the Elijah Craig is real good.

Elijah Craig Barrel Proof B524 is the best I’ve had (with the exception of C923). I’ll even go so far as to say that it’s the only passable batches since 2021. If they all were this good, they could unseat Stagg as my favorite “somewhat available” bourbon.
