Watch: Man Wrangles Florida’s Longest-Ever Burmese Python
A hunter in Florida was filmed catching the longest Burmese python ever to be documented in the state.
The record was confirmed by a local environmental organisation, which said the animal measured 19ft (579cm) and weighed 125lb (56kg).
Burmese pythons are legal to be hunted in Florida due to them being considered an invasive species, responsible for the decline of native mammal populations.
