👉Today, Sirisha along with her boss Richard Branson & 4 others is set to travel to space onboard Virgin Galactic’s spaceflight Unity 22.
👉Today, she will become the 3rd indian-origin women to head into space after kalpana chawla & sunita williams
👉From the rice fields of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh to a journey to the edge of space, 34-year-old Sirisha Bandla will not only fulfill her childhood dream today but create history opening a whole new world for commercial space travel
👉However, her dream of being an astronaut or a pilot was cut short because of bad eyesight. But the first crewed private spaceflight powered by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen funded Space Ship one in 2004 helped Sirisha pursue her passion.

👉The trip cost him $20 million, but reflecting on the moment two decades later, Tito still feels the experience was worth every penny.
👉NASA was against the idea of sending civilians to space, so in 1991, Tito turned to the Soviet Union and began conversations about paying to join the country's space mission. Later in that decade, he resumed those conversations before his eventual flight in 2001.

👉Professor Sanjeev Gupta is a scientist with NASA. This $ 3 billion Mars mission is being controlled by Professor Gupta from his rented one-bedroom apartment in London.
👉Professor Sanjeev Gupta was supposed to be in California at the mission control unit but, due to the COVID-19 travel restrictions, he could not be there on time.
👉When he found out that, he cannot make it to the mission control unit in California, Sanjeev Gupta decided to rent out a one-bedroom apartment above a hairdresser in Lewisham.

👉Nasa has rescheduled the first flight attempt of the Ingenuity helicopter on Mars to no earlier than April 14
👉The decision to postpone the flight attempt was taken after an issue was flagged during a high-speed test of the blades
👉Nasa JPL said in a statement that the command sequence controlling the full-speed test ended early due to a “watchdog” timer expiration
👉The watchdog timer oversees the command sequence and alerts the system about any potential issues. The timer helps Ingenuity stay safe by not proceeding if an issue is encountered.
👉"The helicopter team is reviewing telemetry to diagnose and understand the issue. Following that, they will reschedule the full-speed test,” said Nasa.

👉Next, it will be a slow-speed spin-up of the blades for the first time on the Martian surface
👉Unlocking and testing Ingenuity's blades mark the last major milestones before the helicopter attempts to fly. NASA officials have said they will test the blades first at 50 and then at 2,400 revolutions per minute before the helicopter attempts to fly.
👉will begin its first test journey “no earlier” than 11 April, Nasa has said, and it hopes to conduct at least five flights before its month-long journey is over. After that it will be left on the surface, hopefully having successfully demonstrated the technology it was taken to to test.

👉The actor turned director shared a picture on social media from his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 👉Also present at the meeting was S. Narayan Nambi, scientist and aerospace engineer at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on whose life Madhavan's debut directorial feature, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is based.
👉PM Narendra Modi also took to his Twitter and wrote, "Happy to have met you and the brilliant Nambi Narayanan Ji. This film covers an important topic, which more people must know about. Our scientists and technicians have made great sacrifices for our country, glimpses of which I could see in the clips of Rocketry. "

👉The trailer of R Madhavan’s directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is finally out!
👉The biopic is based on the life of the former rocket scientist at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Nambi Narayanan. Head of ISRO’s cryogenics division, he was falsely accused of espionage and arrested in 1994.
👉The trailer presents Nambi Narayanan (played by Madhavan) as an ‘arrogant genius’ who wants to put India on the map when it comes to the commercial satellite market.
👉The trailer showcases how his patriotism became his downfall and he was arrested for selling plans of India’s space programme to foreign countries.

👉Beginning April 2021 , the window opens for the 1st flight of NASA's ingenuity Mars Helicopter.
👉It will be history's 1st attempt at powered , controlled flight on another planet.
👉It has to survive dangerous cold nights where it must maintain power to keep itself warm enough to operate.
👉The duration of ingenuity's mission is 30 days ,where one or more test flights will be attempted.
👉If successful ,ingenuity could lead to an aerial dimension to space exploration , aiding both robots & humans in the future.

👉These rounded pebbles on mars are quite similar with the pebbles found on earth which are known to be form only when transported through water over long distances.
👉The finding represents the first on-site evidence of sustained water flows on the Mars landscape, and supports prospects that the planet could once have been able to host life.
👉They were discovered between the north rim of the planet's Gale Crater and the base of Mount Sharp, a mountain inside the crater.

👉NASA is targeting no earlier than April 8 for the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter to make the first attempt at powered, controlled flight of an aircraft on Mars.
👉“Every step we have taken since this journey began six years ago has been uncharted territory in the history of aircraft,” said Bob Balaram, Mars Helicopter chief engineer at JPL. “And while getting deployed to the surface will be a big challenge, surviving that first night on Mars alone, without the rover protecting it and keeping it powered, will be an even bigger one.”

👉Kalpana Chawla was born in Karnal, Haryana, India🇮🇳on 17th March 1962. From a young age, Kalpana was fascinated by planes.
👉 She attended Punjab Engineering College from where she attained a degree in Aeronautical Engineering
👉Kalpana got her Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from University of Texas. She was also a PhD in aerospace engineering from University of Colorado Boulder. Her excellent academic history and extremely sharp mind got her into NASA in 1988.
👉Kalpana Chawla made the whole nation proud when she became the first woman of Indian origin to fly in space in November 1997.
