With the Avalon Hotel having been in the destination guide, I was keen to take a look.

In summary, the Hotel has really nicely designed and good value suites. A few added touches in the public areas would make it an excellent option.

The Lost Oasis is a large complex in Second Life catering to adults. It offers a mix of relaxation, entertainment, and role-play opportunities.

Highlights include:

Haman Spa and Yoga CentreDungeon and competitive arena
Nicely designed tropical/hacienda setting
Hotel with free (but not private) rooms

While the Lost Oasis is geared towards role-players, non-role-players can still enjoy the excellent design and diverse attractions.

I stumbled across the Empress Chambers; there is so much to see. It's a beach resort that meets a historical Chinese town. It's extensive, fun, and well-built. It includes four villas with adult furniture (no privacy, but free). It's also been updated for PBR.

Overall, it was great, and it deserves more traffic.

Blade Runner Brutal City 2060 is Hera's latest stunning creation, and it's now open. It blends Blade Runner's iconic aesthetic with Judge Dredd's Mega Blocks and brutalist architecture.

Explore towering structures, vibrant block parties, and an excellent cyberpunk hotel. Don't miss the opulent and decadent Dream Palace, my personal favourite or the underground Badd Jazz Club.

Hera's latest creation opens on Friday. After having had a preview, I think it's incredible.

What to look forward to:

- An evolution of her renowned Blade Runner-themed builds, this time, it weaves in elements from Judge Dredd with a heavy touch of Brutalism.

- A diverse cityscape with bars, clubs, and hangout spots

- Intricate details that reward thorough exploration

- Something I was really pleased to see: a fantastic Hotel

The level of detail is remarkable, offering hours of discovery and getting lost.

Asha Rhia has introduced a new Second Life destination: Badu Maldives.

This tropical-themed sim features a swimming pool, beaches, and a water slide. Villas are available for rent at 1500L per night, offering sea views with an open-plan design.

The resort includes various amenities such as a games room, volleyball court, and water sports facilities. A restaurant and bar are also present on the grounds.

Overall, the destination provides opportunities for relaxation, activities, and photography. It's an excellent introduction to AshaRhia's destinations and is recommended.

The latest addition to the ever-expanding Le Chateau world is now open. Le Chateau Triad Island has the look and feel of an urban Hong Kong-style environment from the 1980s/90s.

There are rentals to suit a variety of budgets. But even if you are not looking for somewhere to live, it's worth a visit.

Though it's largely finished, creator Vic tells me a few other social spots will be added soon. Once those are up, I'll write a proper blog post about it.
