I just looked at my podcast dashboard for the first time in ages and I was blown away by this total number of plays and the fact that people are apparently still finding and listening to it even though I haven’t done an episode in forever. Changes in latitudes (literally in my case) and changes in attitudes (not as literally since I still love me some JB), mean that this podcast probably won’t be coming back any time soon, but since we are coming to the end of the year I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you so much to anyone who ever listened to and supported me and this little fun creative outlet that I never expected anyone to listen to, let alone the 500 people who listened to my top episode with Delaney. I appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart and I’m sorry there won’t be new episodes for the foreseeable future, but there are other JB podcasts out there now that there weren’t when I started this, so maybe I’m not as needed. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to run into you all at some music event one day in the future!

I recently visited New Orleans for the first time and loved it so much! My friend there is currently selling their house and I thought I would share in case anyone was on the lookout for a NOLA home. Had a whirlwind trip to New Orleans last week. I was there for work, so didn’t have time to hit all the JB and other cool spots (thank you to everyone who sent me recommendations), but I of course had to squeeze in some gumbo and go to where the coffee is strong and the doughnuts are too hot to touch! As short as my trip was, I really loved the city and hope to go back for a real visit soon.

Oh, hello friends! Sorry for being MIA, but ya girl is a seasonal beastie and has been of exploring other creative avenues for the past six months. That being said, for any of you out there who are still interested in the podcast, there will likely be a new episode up soon! I probably won’t be going to back to a weekly format because frankly, for this introvert it was just getting too stressful to find guests, schedule times, and make it happen that regularly. However, I might try to do something on more of a once a month, or just when a good guest pops up kind of schedule. So yeah, that’s where I am at, what have y’all been up to?!
