"Overdrive" by out this week! Album comes out June 21 🤘

The artist says about the song, "I wanted to embody the "f**k it" attitude of going out, letting loose, and having a good time. I’m not anti-"Wellness Culture," per se, but I think it can be pervasive on social media and create a sense of perfectionism in people that’s unrealistic and, in turn, unhealthy. Sometimes, the best medicine for your mental health is to just go out with your friends and be wild for the night. In the verses, I’m speaking to people who feel left out, self-conscious, or alienated. I want anyone who listens to my music to feel comfortable being their messy, imperfect selves. We should all feel empowered to dance like freaks without a care, and I hope this song affords people the freedom to do just that."

Sarkissian sequences instruments such as kanun, shvi woodwind, dhol percussion, along with field recordings, film samples, electric guitar, in a lush electronic atmosphere where her own imagination of a thriller film, and stories of Tsovinar - the goddess of water, sea and rain from Armenian epic tradition, meet together in one place. The EP includes a feature from Locust (Mark Van Hoen), British electronic music artist and collaborator with members of Slowdive, Seefeel, Lush and more.”

Elliott is a visionary and a legend, both as a producer and solo artist. He’s produced for amazing artists like Corbin, Velvet Negroni, and Yves Tumor. And each of his solo projects is a compete reinvention of sound, from Sleeping in the Aviary’s punk rock beginnings to Tickle Torture’s Freudian basement funk extravaganza!

Gloomer is his first solo project in 5 years, and is so imaginative and fresh, unlike anything we’ve ever heard ~ “warpspeed shoegaze”, like My Bloody Valentine over breakbeats.
