So this glass heart is part of the upstairs bathroom decor. Every night when we are in there doing the bedtime routine, Sawyer grabs it and wants a photo with it. Last night he insisted on another photo, only this time he said “Mama! Take a picture. This is for the world.” We very very briefly explained Covid-19 and why he isn’t in school or allowed to go anywhere. Only enough detail that a 4 year old needs to hear. As for taking a stand for black lives matter, we haven’t sat him down yet. We are planning on sitting him down and explaining the importance of acceptance and loving everyone regardless of skin colour, gender, or who they love. These things are always talked about here and there but with everything going on lately, we really want to ensure they understand.

There is DEFINITELY a full moon and Friday the 13th this week because my kids are wack! 😂 Silly and crazy one minute and then flipping their lids the next. Sawyer was flipping out this morning and Annie is wacky and silly. It has been rotating like this since yesterday. ☕️☕️☕️🍷🍷🍷
