We’re super excited for this one fam! This morning at 10am in C2.2 for SXSW Sydney 2024

Dylan River, writer and Director of Thou Shalt Not Steal will be joined by his father, Warwick Thornton and his cousin, Tanith Glynn-Maloney to discuss how his style and approach to telling his stories and their communities stories have developed and evolved over the years, and how his approach is different to the generations that have come before him. Dylan has come from a long line of storytellers, all of whom have had different approaches to telling their stories - and how he and Tanith Glynn-Maloney are part of a new generation of First Nations storytellers that are approaching these stories differently, adding humour and heart and finding ways to bring First Nations stories more commercial and acceptable, rather than niche.
