Scammers are now creating groups in order to do their T shirt scams. They steal posts from actual groups and then share them from their group into others to get members. They post their T shirt scam but remove it after a while to remain "undetected".

The STAGEHAND MEMES!! group is one created and run by scammers. They are tee-shirt scammers.

At least one of these profiles has stolen an actual persons name and photos, usually they at least change the name.

I am currently investigating the detailing, duct cleaning and pest control scams.

I have discovered who is behind the ads. I now am working on who they get to actually turn up and do the work.

The ads are not totally as much of a scam as one would expect. They are just very misleading. They usually pretend it is their business but it isn't. They are just an advertising service for someone who will turn up and potentially dodgily do the work.

The person turning up may or may not be aware of how the job/lead was obtained.

I am back in contact with the Scammer from yesterday. They currently have listings with two accounts near me, probably many more all over the country.

Unsurprisingly they have been going for many years. I can see how one would continue with the amount of income it generates.

Unfortunately this one is clever enough to be difficult to trace. With the amount of victims I do believe this one would've been caught by now if it was possible.

These phone numbers are all one scammer who responds to wanted ads on Gumtree. They are a regular appearance in court but have been doing this for years.

Make sure you never give anyone your ID unless absolutely necessary. I managed to get some information from a scammer and what the main thing they seemed to need was a drivers licence. In particular they only try to get NSW ones as all the information is on one side.
How they primarily get the licences is to pretend to sell something on marketplace. Before they give you the "address" they ask for your ID, their excuse is that they claim to have been just robbed so they want to know who is visiting. Usually one would only send the main side which is why they target NSW ones.
With this information I believe they open bank accounts and take over the victim's Facebook account.

I managed to get a scammer to send me some information. This is what they say is their income for one day just on one account. This scammer is targeting Australians and eventually gave in and said they were in Canada which I think is likely. The way they spoke I did think they were in Australia or at least an English speaking country.
Wherever they are I believe they then use bitcoin to transfer the money out of the bank accounts.

I haven't been updating the scammer list for some time. Unfortunately it just takes up too much of my time.

I have however been watching a few more scams which I will hopefully post about soon. One is waiting on legal proceedings to finish.

An unsuspecting person might not realise but this is just one step closer to getting into an account.

It is a common security question and maybe the scammer is already trying to get in so knows what question is being asked.

Another way to identify scammers is to look at who likes the posts/images on their profile. Usually they will like all of their own posts. I also find their other scam accounts this way as they will have also liked the posts.

I never got around to posting details on the piano scam but Pleasant Green on YouTube has done a video. This scam is known to appear via email as well as Facebook Marketplace. On marketplace the accounts are always brand new, saying they joined in the current year.

There are many signs of scam pages but if anything says Cameroon, RUN!

Commonly the profile will have friends in Cameroon. If it is a page then it might have people managing it in Cameroon like this screenshot shows. These scam pages have often had many name changes.

Here is a new method. They have created groups to post in, there is then no way to easily stop them as they are the admin and Facebook does nothing.

Occasionally posts will turn up here saying "Scammer! do not send them money!"

This is from when I leave a review on a scammers page and then they disable reviews. it gets disassociated with the page and appears here.

Shipping container scam.

There is a large number of shipping container scams going around.
The prices will be lower than they should be and the scammer will not allow you to pick up or see the container yourself. They will only allow you to pay for their delivery service which is all fake.

The safest options is to not pay for goods you can't physically see.

Free piano scam.

I will soon post about the free piano scam. On marketplace there will be new accounts with a 'Free" piano which is "available for pickup or delivery"

There is in fact no piano and they will try to get you to pay for their "removalists" to deliver it.

Here is an example of another scammer. Note the address has another name as the scammer has used an old profile (their own?) They have then changed the name and images.

If you click view edit history on the posts/images you will see they have all been changed recently.
