Able to catch up here a bit.

I wanted to give a big thanks to Santa Barbara International Film Festival! This is where the film Range Rider had it's world premiere.

Huge thanks to and and the rest of the amazing crew for making a beautiful film about my work. Hats off to you guys! It was also great to get to know Colin and Elsa more, they are both fantastic people.

It was great meeting the amazing person who made the film possible in the first place .nyborg from Peak Design . It was truly a pleasure to connect with Annie she is a wonderful human.

Loved the message of hope that Santa Barbara slapped me in the face with. It's been difficult lately and I really needed it!

Made some other amazing connections, with some incredible people while I was there.

So, thank you very much beautiful Santa Barbara for the warm welcome.

I am very thankful for the experience! Look forward to coming back down there.

So grateful to have met these 3 amazing individuals.
They are each individually beautiful souls.
Big thanks to Wildconfluence and their amazing team. Without them the story of my work would not be reaching as many people. They made a truly beautiful film!

Very grateful for the opportunity to have a KCTS9 (PBS) crew come out to the field with me. I had a great time with Sarah and Bryce. They came out and shadowed me while we discussed the philosophy and methodology of my work. They were great companions in the bush!

We had more interaction with wolves during their short stint with me in the wild than any other group so far. We were able to make a hugely positive impact on one of the wolf packs that I was working with. This was done by using aversive conditioning (scaring) to push them away from an area they were localizing. If they had stayed in that area, it would have potentially been very bad for the entire pack, people and livestock in the vicinity.

The name of my business is G.R.I.P.H. It stands for Guarding the Respective Interests of Predators and Humans. The day the KCTS9 crew came out they witnessed this in action firsthand! They even got some of that interaction on film!

I am so thankful to be a part of their tv series Human Elements. Season 3 premieres tonight 2\9\23 on KCTS9 at 8:50pm PST. The episode that I am featured in will air on the 2\23\23 at 8:50.

follow the link below to check out a preview. It seems like they always catch me howling with the wolves.😂

Good morning, everyone! Starr here again with an update. This weeks video may be a couple days late. Daniel has a very important message he wants to share with all of you, but since he is currently out in the mountains with VERY unreliable service, getting the footage to me is proving to be a little difficult. We're working on it though! So stay turned for the completed product, but until then, please check out this podcast that Daniel did for The Wild with Chris Morgan awhile back. It's a great listen and in light of what is going on with wolf management right now, very enlightening. Go give it a listen, and follow Chris Morgan on Facebook for more wildlife centric content.

I saddle up, take to the hills of eastern Washington state and meet a man who left his city life behind to protect the wolves he loves.

In Montana and Idaho, legislation is being put into effect that will open the door to a brutal culling of their wolf populations. In Idaho the wolf population will be reduced to 150 animals. That's a thousand wolves that will be slaughtered in Idaho alone. The death toll in Montana will be staggering. Please, take a couple minutes to sign the petition below and help send a message to Idaho's legislators that this is unacceptable. There are more humane ways to create a balance between predatory animals and human interests.

We apologize for missing a video last week. Starr (me :) ) was on vacation and didn't have to chance to get one done. But here is this weeks installment, continuing Daniel's adventures in Western Washington. It's a quick one, but we hope you enjoy it. Watch until the end for a special ocean dwelling guest.

Hey, everybody. Starr here and I've got some not so great news. Due to some major technological issues (and if I'm being honest, some user error as well), our video for this week did not get done in time to post today. We WILL get one out this week, just not sure of which day exactly. So hang in there, friends! And thanks for you understanding and continued support
