A tool for understanding. A tool for communication. A tool for everyone.
Last December 1, 2022, the English Erudite Club and English Department commences the finale of National Reading and English Month 2022 at the MSS Hall of CCNHS. The parade of characters and awarding of winners were held along with the students and teachers from the Grade 10 English Department.
The English language nowadays is widely used by anyone, playing a significant role in various aspects, and is considered one of the most important language to people in different parts of the world. The international language is like bubble gum, used to keep us in contact with other people despite of our nationalities—merging us—giving us the freedom to know and communicate with others. It is one of the ways to disregard the language barrier everyone is putting between two different citizens. For it to appreciate more, a month is intended to celebrate its importance to let us know that we are just living with foreign dialects, but we're all one in a uniting language, English. Here is Athenah Arnado, for the report.

Happy 74th Charter Day Calbayog City!
Calbayog City, known by several names, The City of Waterfalls, Gateway to the North, the land of the Calbayognons, our Home. Known for its mesmerizing natural and cultural beauty. Scenic waterfalls thundering, violent, and calming at once. Caves engulfed in darkness where hidden beauty and life born from millennias of weathering remain. Pristine beaches that have provided nourishment for our people. Rivers that have catered and served our ancestors for centuries. As the Teacher's Day celebration progressed, students exhibit various forms of appreciation, demonstrating their gratitude to all educators.
The Ember captured fun-thrilling activities throughout the day on the 5th day of October, 2022, including some spectacular and spontaneous games spearheaded by the SSG Organization. Astonishing and remarkable deliberation was also present in the said program, which was led by the school's head assistant principal, Mrs. Elizabeth Lumod. Although few words were spoken and discussed, greeting the teachers was the highlight of the day.
