This is going to be a long post, and I'm sorry in advance, but it's super important!
Book 2 ended on an HFN (Happy for now), and Marcy & Noah's story will continue in another book. That was the plan.
So when I first was jotting down what each book would be, I planned on having Marcy & Noah's book to be 2 and 4th in the series and have the 3rd book be Estella & Butch's story.
I had planned it this way because I knew that writing the second part, where Marcy is dealing with, and healing from what happened to her would take a lot out of me.
There were a lot of people who really wanted the second part of Marcy & Noah's story sooner, so I decided to make their second part book 3 and then Estella & Butch's story be book 4.
After all of that, I wasn't happy. Before I even started writing Behind the Scheme, I had thought about having Marcy & Noah's story as one book (so it would be a HEA) and loved the idea of that but went with my original plan, two books.
Right now, I'm currently outlining and slowly writing the second part of their story. It's really hard for me, cause the healing she's going through in the book is hard. It brings up a lot of memories from my healing and going through what happened to me (wasn't r@pe, but was good either way and brings up painful times).
Anyways, getting away from the point of this post. I am working on their story, and once I'm finished, and it goes through beta readers and my editor, I'll be publishing it. But not as its own book.
I will be combining books 2 & 3 together for one long book.
Closer to the time of when I publish it, I'll unpublish Behind the Scheme, and the two books will be republished as Behind the Torture.
Behind the Torture will be the first and second parts of Marcy & Noah's story into one book. If that makes any sense.
