Earlier today, it was announced that the Dallas Cowboys, a.k.a America’s Team, will be on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

It marks the team’s third appearance on the popular show. The other two years that Dallas appeared on Hard Knocks were back in the 2002 and 2008 preseasons.

After recently being spotted in a Dallas Cowboys hoodie, Julio Jones says he does not want to go to America’s Team.

Jones did confirm rumors and reports that he wants out of Atlanta. When asked about the Cowboys by Undisputed’s Shannon Sharpe, however, he shot down the possibility.

“I ain’t going to Dallas. I never thought about going there.”😳

In his “Football Morning In America” column on Sunday, Peter King made an interesting prediction.

He believes either Buffalo or Dallas will open the season at Tampa Bay on Thursday, Sept. 9. His reasoning for choosing the Cowboys is that a Dak-led offense will be able to go toe-to-toe with the Buccaneers, and prove to be an exciting game.

This week's special guests are the Medrano Family, who were given the spotlight by none other than DeMarcus "Tank" Lawrence earlier this month.

Lilly Medrano, who is a cancer patient, recently completed her second round of radiation treatment in what is now her second battle with cancer.

We would really appreciate it if you listen to our conversation with Lilly and her parents, which starts at the 31:06-minute mark, to hear more about her story, the family's love for the Cowboys, and what is the one word they would use to describe Lilly.

Also, we kicked off this episode by giving our final thoughts on prized tight end target Kyle Pitts, and whether or not we believe the Cowboys should draft him.

Jess and Joe also talk about what we think will happen on draft night in just over a week, potential offseason acquisitions, and the retirement of Alex Smith.

The loss of offseason workouts could cost some Cowboys major money 💰

Todd Archer has reported that Dak, Zeke, Amari, D-Law, Jaylon, Zack Martin, Tyron Smith and La’el Collins could each lose $500,000 from their base salary 🤯

That number would be $250,000 for Anthony Brown, Blake Jarwin, Jourdan Lewis and newcomer Tarell Basham. It would be $100,000 for kicker Greg Zuerlein, C.J. Goodwin, and offseason signees Brent Urban and Ty Nsekhe (it’s $50,00 for Darian Thompson) 😔

We’re hoping that this won’t be the case!

This Day in Cowboys History: April 13, 2018, was a sad day for fans of America’s Team as Dallas released Dez Bryant.

Bryant is one of the GREATEST players in franchise history, and holds the all-time Cowboys record for touchdown receptions (73).

In eight seasons with the Cowboys, Bryant hauled in 531 catches for 7,459 yards (that’s an average of 14 yards per reception 😯). The former first-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft has also been selected to three Pro Bowls in his career.

Oh, and that was a catch 🗣

This time around, we got to speak with Dennis Morrison, who has been a flag runner with the Cowboys for nearly 15 years, and has met a number of celebrities, including Jerry Jones, during his career.

Listen to our conversation at the 29-minute mark to hear what Morrison had to say about his job, what have been the highlights of career, his thoughts on the football team, and much more. Fun Fact: Morrison has ran for more yards on the football field (over 30,000 yards) than the great Emmitt Smith 🤯

Before speaking with Morrison, however, Jess and Joe shared their thoughts on Jaylon Smith's desire to wear the No. 9 jersey (Spoiler: We were not thrilled about that). We also talked about which free agent we would like to see the Cowboys sign next, and our thoughts following April 4 being the four-year anniversary of Tony Romo's retirement from the NFL.

On This Day In Cowboys History: Two years ago, DeMarcus Lawrence agreed to a five-year, $105 million ($65 million guaranteed) contact extension with Dallas.

Since then, DeMarcus Lawrence has recorded 103 combined tackles, 11.5 sacks and has forced six fumbles in 32 games 🔥🔥

The Hot Boyz will be led by Lawrence yet again this season, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store!

On This Day In History: Four years ago today, Tony Romo announced to the world that he would be retiring from the NFL and joining CBS as an analyst.

Romo retired from the league as the Dallas Cowboys franchise leader in passing yards (34,183) and touchdowns (248).

Along with those outstanding accomplishments, Romo is No. 9 all-time (😏) in NFL history with a 97.1 passer rating.
