We are excited to announce HUMANIZER, the sophomore album from Ancient Teeth!

Pre-orders are live today. Visit Ancient Teeth on Bandcamp to order the digital album and name your price starting at $1. A limited amount of bundles which include the cassette edition of the album along with the debut album DEATHBED are also available.

The cassette is being released by our friends at Debt Offensive Recs and can be purchased via their website or Bandcamp page. It features a 4-panel J-card with lyrics and an O-card with additional artwork.

The bands new single Sacrifice is included as an immediate download with all pre-orders.

The forthcoming sophomore album, HUMANIZER, is crystallized around a perception of universal oneness that Mottram experienced during the pandemic. “It starts with a ferocious explosion of energy and slowly breaks apart through contemplative moments and dreamy atmospheric tangents,” Mottram explains. “A lot of the songs are written from an intimate perspective and celebrate my feelings for different people in my life. Chris wrote three of the songs and having his voice included enriches the overall narrative. Trish Robb singing on the album was essential as well, so she took the lead on Vanishing Light.” Recurring characters like Ryan Dhale (Age Of Electric), Jordy Birch (Pure), Katrina Natale (Devin Townsend) and even Mottram’s parents make guest appearances.

New KEN mode single “He Was a Good Man, He Was a Taxpayer” out today.

On the new track, Jesse Matthewson comments candidly that it is, "perhaps a little more post-punk than people are used to hearing us – but we had fun playing with synth and pushing the boundaries of the emotionality of this track. Is this noise goth? I don't know. Does that sound stupid? Did I just invent a new genre? There are equal parts Bauhaus and Unsane on this, so maybe?"
