We’re a unique analogue audiophile record label from Tasmania, with an audience of demanding music lovers from all over the World.
Valuing the old values of finely crafted music, we don’t just make files, in fact: digital formats are the last thing we focus on. We know that the best format ever is analogue tape, it’s the way the best recordings have been made for almost a century, and it still has a superior high fidelity sound, with warmth and depth that far exceeds the best digital formats available.
3 Legged Devil Music is not just a brand name, we are a studio based label, that record, mix, master and duplicate our audiophile reels, cassettes with the finest analogue equipment ever made, and we only use brand new tapes from Recording The Masters, and ATR, who have both saved the analogue tape format from extinction, with the finest quality professional mastering grade tapes that have ever been manufactured.
Our fully restored and meticulously maintained Studer, Revox and Otari professional tape machines are the finest ever made, with peerless sound and build quality, they have a reputation that spans several decades, and have been behind the biggest and best recording artists in history, from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, to the likes of Pavarotti and the greatest Symphony Orchestras, they stand alone as the best.
