Matthew 5:29-30 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
In the above verses, Jesus isn't talking about cutting of a physical part of the body. But you know how painful, lost and difficult it may be to cut off any part of your body? Jesus is telling you here that any habit, character, practice, job, or item that is very profitable or lucrative to you which you can't do without, but it will make you perish, try all your best to remove it from your life. This teaches us how important it is to make sure we don't lose the kingdom of God.
Repent today and Jesus will save you. If you go to hell, the things you've enjoyed in life will be forgotten within a second.
